This was the last stop on our long Adriatic road trip, and this was probably the best room we stayed in. Lovely decor, great breakfast, easy safe parking, friendly staff, absolutely perfect location. Easily walkable to all the major attractions (Dante's tomb, the five main mosaic sites, the arcade market, shopping). It has everything going for it. We plan to return to Ravenna, and when we do, we'll stay here again.

From the greeting by Maddalena, to check out with Barbara, everything was sensational. Restaurant staff, Pietro and Davide were outstanding, as was the food and beverage.

Situated in the historical centre of Lugo, the Hotel Ristorante Ala d'Oro was once the home of the noble Conti Rossi family, one of the most important aristocratic families in the town. Nice and cozy. Super kind personnel especially the guy the night I have arrived and the lady at the check out in the morning.
