We had a great stay at Regina Boutique Suites in Trieste and would happily come back. Check-in was super easy and stress-free. There’s no reception, but everything works perfectly — all access codes and PINs are sent in advance, very clear and well organized. The location is excellent. It’s about a 5-minute walk from the train and bus station, even with a suitcase, and just one street away from the main square. We visited during Christmas, and it couldn’t have been better — the ice rink, carousel and Christmas markets were literally around the corner. Another market was at the end of the street, visible as soon as you step outside. You can even see the sea and the waterfront from the window. The building itself is beautiful and full of character — an old historic house with high ceilings, large windows and a charming entrance with a wooden door, wrought-iron railings and wide stairs. If you like places with soul and a touch of old-world elegance, this is it. The room was cozy, comfortable and very well thought out. Nothing unnecessary, but everything you need. The heated floor was a lovely surprise — especially in winter, it felt amazing. There’s a small kitchenette with a stove and basic cookware. We only did breakfasts in the room, and it was more than enough: sandwiches, salad, boiled eggs, coffee and tea. The bathroom had all the essentials, including body lotion and a vanity kit — honestly, more like a 5-star hotel level. The bed was soft and very clean, with fresh, crisp sheets. The room was warm and comfortable, no need for extra layers at night. It was also very quiet. Since the hotel is on a side street, there’s no traffic noise at all, and the sound insulation is good. Overall, a very comfortable, stylish and well-located place. We really enjoyed our stay and would gladly return.

We enjoyed very much our stay in City Gallery Apartments. The apartment was immaculately clean, which made for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The cleanliness level truly stands out—it feels like they pay attention to every detail. The location is fantastic, with the apartment being centrally located, making it easy to explore the city. It's close to major attractions, shops, and public transport, so getting around is convenient. For those looking to dine or grab a drink or have breakfast nearby, I'd highly recommend to follow the suggestions that the staff gave us by WhatsApp. For dining we went at Ristorante Navigando, which offers a delicious menu. Both spots are within walking distance, adding to the convenience of staying here. Overall, City Gallery Apartment is perfect for anyone looking for a clean, well-located place to stay.
