Overall, Tototo is not just accommodation, but a place where you can truly feel the spirit of connection and community. Highly recommended.

24 km from Chuson-ji Temple in Oshu, フォレストコテージ奥州 provides accommodation with access to a sauna, hot spring bath and open-air bath. The air-conditioned accommodation is 25 km from Motsuji Temple. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Forest Cottage Oshu. It was the perfect winter getaway - cozy and wholesome! There was snow everywhere and it felt so magical! The room was spacious and comfortable, and the kitchen was fully equipped. We enjoyed the nearby onsen, which is free if you stay at one of the cottages. When we came back from the onsen in the evening, the staff started a bonfire outside that just enhanced the magical atmosphere. We found a couple of sweet potatoes in a plastic bag hung at our door handle and fully enjoyed roasting them in the bonfire. Such an amazing stay!

The holiday flat is quite close to the Sakura spot of Tenshochi Park and the Michinoku folk museum. The flat is located at the riverside with a lovely view and is decorated prettily. The owner is nice. She showed us some beautiful places when we arrived and drove us to the station when we had to leave.
