Satomi is so friendly & hospitable. she is very kind and helpful, helping us to find out a public bus route from Takachiho to Nobeoka we are very appreciate and impressed her kindness Location is perfect, room was comfortable & clean. We were so well rested throughout our stay. We love the settings as Japanese style. Thank you for having us!" Highly recommended to stay in this property

So cool to stay in an old, traditional house, which had everything we needed. Owner was super friendly and even had some free pottery we were welcome to take. (And he had great suggestions for where to eat nearby and even left us some instant ramen to eat, if we got hungry.) The futon heaters were great and definitely needed when a cold wind storm blew in!

The house was very cosy, traditional and beautiful. I met cool people, it was very social and you felt like at home. The host was really friendly and helpful and I loved hanging out with her.

Incredible guesthouse in a nice a traditional Japanese village, right by the train station also. Had the whole dorm to myself that night and was able to cook up a feast. Owner was so friendly and let me keep my bags after check out also.

Arrived by car, so cannot say much about the location, but there is private, free parking and a grocery store is nearby. The check-in and check-out were very easy. The bungalow is amazing. Great furniture, very clean, and includes a full kitchen. Washing machine and dryer are also available. The toilet plays classical music. The bed was the most comfortable bed that we slept in while in Japan. A bit pricey, but absolutely amazing. Wish we had stayed longer.

Great location, beautiful property, great service and wonderful staff. The in-house hot spring was great, too. We celebrated our husbands’ big birthday there. The restaurant prepared a special birthday cake for them!
