Everything was great. The staff were really friendly and made us feel at home, the location was excellent and central, and the room was clean and comfortable. The snacks were a great touch after a long day of travel. We will definitely love to stay again in the future.

The old house had traditional japanese style and the house felt up to date with appliances and stylish interior. We very much enjoyed our stay in the countryside of Japan! Would definitely come again here. We also rented bikes for free and the host was so nice

It was a very roomy place, especially for Japan. We invited some local friends over for a long lunch for example. Complete kitchen, big refrigerator, made entertaining easy. Comfortable bathroom facilities, excellent hot water, free parking quiet neighborhood but not too remote. I recommend it for any 2 or 4 family people who want to stay in the area.

Naglalaan ang 近江の町家 門 sa Omihachiman ng accommodation na may libreng WiFi, 37 km mula sa Enryaku-ji Temple, 39 km mula sa Mount Hiei, at 46 km mula sa Shoren-in Temple. Well located and the historic neighborhood walking distance from almost every site. The bathroom building was very nice and modern and clean. The main house building was also very spacious and comfortable. The bikes were great for getting around town. And I absolutely loved the private Japanese garden in between the two buildings. even in the winter snow, it made it a delight to go back-and-forth between the two buildings to use the restroom or shower. I would have enjoyed staying another day. Thank you for offering such a restful and peaceful place to stay. I enjoyed my time here much more than I expected. It was lovely.

Guesthouse En, ang accommodation na may mga libreng bisikleta at hardin, ay matatagpuan sa Omihachiman, 34 km mula sa Enryaku-ji Temple, 35 km mula sa Sanzen-in Temple, at pati na 35 km mula sa Mount... Very comfortable, nicely heated in the winter, and a very nice bath. The house was in a traditional small neighborhood too! The host was very accommodating.

Matatagpuan sa Takashima, ang Marumo Ryokan ay 46 km mula sa Sanzen-in Temple. Marumo Ryokan is an authentic Japanese ryokan and is hands down the best we’ve ever stayed at. The rooms are beautiful and spacious, it is impeccably clean, and the meals are a delicious traditional feast. The hosts are very accommodating and thoughtful. We took the train to Omi-Iwazu and then rode back to Omi-Takashima, where we rented bikes to visit the Shirahige shrine. We also went to Makino to spend some time at the beach. Our entire group of five wished we had planned to stay for 2 or 3 nights instead of one. It was a wonderful retreat from the hustle and bustle of the rest of our trip and we would hands down all choose to stay there again!

Biwako Hanakaido features outdoor and indoor hot-spring baths, 3 dining options and rooms with a balcony and Lake Biwako views. It also has a garden and a sauna, while the lobby offers free WiFi. The accomodation/ Onsen/ food and services are all wonderful!
