Beautiful old Japanese house, perfectly modernised. Beautiful garden. Close to Tonosho Port, not far from Angel Road. Wonderful meal cooked by house chef, definitely worth doing. All staff were incredibly helpful, helping us organise activities in the islands, and providing delicious snacks and food. Strongly recommended.

Set within 300 metres of MeiPAM Art Museum and 400 metres of Saiko-ji Temple, わとなみ features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Tonosho. The space is huge and beautiful, fresh flower arrangement were there upon our arrival. The tableware were so tasteful, and futons are very thick and comfortable, I can’t hope for more.
