Facilities like the coffee bar were nice, staff were exceptional and our room was very nice. Since the hotel is a bit out of the way, it is necessary to reserve a small shuttle down to the town center. The reservation system for the shuttle is difficult to navigate on a cell phone. I managed to book one spot instead of two for the trip to the station. The lovely lady at the front desk realized my mistake and notified the manager who personally drove us down to the station. Just Wow! We will be back!

Homely rooms with mountain views, free Wi-Fi and a private bath await guests at Villa Revage, 350 metres from Nikko Botanical Garden. Easily accessible location. The private furo (onsen) is a big plus, not seen in other properties. It offers the authentic hot spring experience but you have the entire bath on your own. The overall vibe is also great, with spacious lounge area and self-service pantry area. Room facing the back of the hotel has no noise at all for a great night sleep. The staff is also very friendly and we had a great time chatting.

Offering mountain views, Rakuten STAY VILLA Kinugawa Riverside is an accommodation set in Nikko, 18 km from Tobu Nikko Station and 19 km from Nikko Station. I love that each unit is a separate apartment. Traveling with my children, I didn't have to worry about them walking too loud or running around. The homes were so clean, and smelled like new construction. The onsen was the perfect temperature and the sauna was perfect after walking back from dinner on a cool night.

COZY Inn Free Shuttle Service er nýlega enduruppgert gistirými í Nikko, 12 km frá Tobu Nikko-stöðinni og 14 km frá Nikko Toshogu-helgiskríninu. Hiro-san was an excellent host! He was very friendly, spoke excellent English, and gave us great local advice. Marie-san, his assistant, was also a treat! The room he offered us was clean and comfortable, his house is very charming. There is access to snacks, coffee, and cooking facilities. He is also located right off a historic walkway in a quiet neighborhood. We would love to stay again, thank you for hosting us, Hiro-san!

Rakuten STAY VILLA Nikko er staðsett í Nikko á Tochigi-svæðinu, skammt frá Tobu Nikko-stöðinni og Nikko-stöðinni. Lovely apartment. Well appointed. Great facilities. Kitchen area really good. Onsen and sauna a joy. Very relaxing stay.

7.7 km from Nikko Station, Guesthouse Imaichi ゲストハウス今市マチナカ is a recently renovated property set in Nikko and offers air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. Very cozy hostel with welcoming owner. The spacious living room was a nice place to hang out and to meet other guests. I felt very comfortable right away. The location is also convenient, close to the station and only one stop away from Nikko. I can definitely recommend staying here.

The Nikko Nishimachi Club a la touto is located within a short walking distance to 4 area Temples/Shrines. Our suite was spacious and comfortable. The hotel offers wonderful private spa access on each floor which can be reserved in advance (there is a nominal spa tax which is paid during checkout). Some free drinks were provided in the room fridge along with some simple snacks (chips/crisps). Bathrobes, pajamas and quality toiletries are also provided. The staff was very courteous and helpful, always using a translation app when needed to ensure a clear understanding. Local cafes and restaurants can have odd hours or closing days, so just be aware. The Indian restaurant above the nearby Lawsons was very good, as well as the crepes in the cafe next door, when open. A visit to the local tourist information center was very helpful. The hotel reimbursed our taxi fees from the train station upon arrival and welcomed us with a glass of wine or juice, which was lovely. They also provided transportation back to the train station after checkout.

Shinkyo Inn er staðsett í Nikko, 1 km frá Nikko Toshogu-helgiskríninu og býður upp á gistirými með verönd, ókeypis einkabílastæði og bar. Great hospitality, the owners were very nice and helpful. Room is cozy, clean and well equipped with river view and shinkyo bridge view from the window. Breakfast and dinner snack were delicious. Location is great- very close to bus stop no. 7 (shinkyo bridge) and the shrines. Thank you for hosting us!

Nikko Cottage Yurt er staðsett í Nikko á Tochigi-svæðinu, skammt frá Tobu Nikko-stöðinni og Nikko-stöðinni. Boðið er upp á gistirými með ókeypis WiFi og ókeypis einkabílastæði. Super cozy place, renovated with taste. We were picked up at the station, given a map, brought to the shop where we bought the nikko pass. On the last day the owner drove us the station. Amazing service. We had tea and cake in the house, which was very kind At 15-17min from the station and convenient store by foot
