Ichi-go ichi-e. This is a concept we later learned at a tea ceremony in Kyoto, but the experience at Morito-Sha felt as the embodiment of this concept! From the moment we arrived and even after we departed, our hosts at Morito-Sha made sure we felt at home. We got treated as equals and were accepted with welcoming arms to the embrace of this amazing institute. The rooms were just as depicted in the images if not prettier, the beds felt welcoming in our long journey throughout Japan, the breakfast was absolutely amazing, we loved every bite! The area of the shrine is truly beautiful, and the shrine itself is amazing to behold inside and out! Thank you very much to all who are involved in the being of this special hotel. P.S. Oh and I almost forgot, make sure you arrive on time to see the craft display in the hotel. There's plenty of kitchen utensils there, so if you want something unique you could find it here! We bought a hashi-oki, and a bunch of bottles of scented sprays made from local trees that have very unique purposes and utilisations

Guesthouse Iwase is set in Toyama, 2.2 km from Toyama-kō and 14 km from Toyama Family Park. The accommodation was cozy and walking distance away from the nearest city tram station. The owner was friendly and goes the extra mile to get to know his guests, and provide recommendations and suggestions accordingly. Being away from Toyama city center, one can get a glimpse of a quieter neighborhood, which is a big plus.

Koji and his team were very helpful and knowledgeable on the local and surrounding area, and were very accommodating hosts. The place was super neat and had everything needed to make a memorable vacation. Highly recommend

The best place I’ve stayed in Japan! Kota and his lovely family were so nice and helpful during our stay. The house is gorgeous and the homemade food and sake are amazing! Thank you so much for receiving us and for being so kind! All the joy to the lovely family and for the business as well! Would recommend this Guest House very much!

Matatagpuan sa Nanto, 48 km mula sa Kanazawa Castle, ang Guest House YAMASHITA-YA ay naglalaan ng accommodation na may hardin, libreng private parking, at shared lounge. Satoe-san was very warm and welcoming. She made us breakfast upon request (need to order 3 days before the stay). Food is delicious, especially the firm Gokayama tofu and original dip she made! The location is perfect if you are coming from Shirakawago like us. It is in Gokayama which is also a heritage site. They have gassho houses that are equally beautiful and not as crowded as Shirakawago. We felt at home at Guest House Yamashita-ya. Hope we get a chance to stay again!

Matatagpuan ang Minshuku Goyomon sa Nanto, 43 km mula sa Kanazawa Castle at 43 km mula sa Kenroku-en Garden. We loved everything about the Minshuku and the town. With no doubt one of the highlights of our trip to Japan. The host was very friendly, the meals delicious, and the house beautiful. Highly recommended!

Nagtatampok ng 2-star accommodation, ang Minshuku Yomoshirou ay matatagpuan sa Nanto, 43 km mula sa Kanazawa Castle at 43 km mula sa Kenroku-en Garden. Available on-site ang private parking. I love Ainokura during the winter time, staying at Minshuku Yomoshirou was the highlight of my trip, the snow were covering the village makes it extra magical. The owner is very helpful and kind, they were trying to explain the history of the town, about their ancestor and how they use to live in the mountain in the past. It just nice to be able to stay in the Gassho House and learnt about the wonderful Japanese culture.

Nagtatampok ng hardin, ang Daibutsu Ryokan ay matatagpuan sa Takaoka sa rehiyon ng Toyama, 48 km mula sa Kanazawa Castle at 48 km mula sa Kenroku-en Garden. The hosts were absolutely wonderful! A warm welcome and introduction to the ryokan, to a hearty breakfast and a warm goodbye as we left, they really made us feel welcomed.
