First of all this is not one hotel or an accommodation: is much much more. It’s a wonderful experience. The pictures are extremely accurate so you get exactly what you see. As a family we chose the 3 bed room which included a private bath and basin (toilet are shared). As we arrived we have been welcomed by Makiko with a tea and cookie. She was really super caring and attentive to all our needs, giving all the information you may need for nearby interesting activities as the Temple morning chant, restaurants, local shops and how to visit the UNESCO landscape in Shirakawa-go. We have been stayed couple of days during a very big snow storm which transformed the place so that we found ourself in a magical fairytale. All the staff are so gentle and kind that it will make you feel at home and unwilling to leave. We will surely come back!

Guesthouse Iwase is set in Toyama, 2.2 km from Toyama-kō and 14 km from Toyama Family Park. the house was clean, the host so nice. The price is cheap. You also get free ticket to the train. Easy move to train station

Very well maintained, lovely decorated. Well organised and equipment. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Thank you for the insight into places to visit. Bath in the quadruple room was amazing with nice view. Situated in a lovely location.

It was truly a stunning location that left me with an indescribable feeling. The walk there was breathtaking, and everything was so clean and beautiful. The hosts were incredibly sweet and welcoming! As a first-time solo traveler who was quite anxious, I was amazed at how the environment instantly put me at ease. They were also so helpful in planning my time/transportation in Nanto, making my experience even more enjoyable and stress free. I felt so comfortable and cozy that I don’t even remember falling asleep after my long day of exploring :) The food was also absolutely delicious, and I was genuinely sad to leave.

This was a beautifull stay and great experience.The owner was with us while eating the dinner explaining the history,traditional music instruments and answering our questions about the village.I really raccomend this place to everyone who wants experience the rural living.

Nagtatampok ng hardin, ang Daibutsu Ryokan ay matatagpuan sa Takaoka sa rehiyon ng Toyama, 48 km mula sa Kanazawa Castle at 48 km mula sa Kenroku-en Garden. Very kind people running the ryokan. I accidently left an umbrella that I borrowed from them at the nearby store, and the lady said don't worry about it and that she'll get it. It was very genuine. Was only a few other people staying at the time I was there, so it was very quiet. And the bathhouse was a very relaxing and unique experience. Many amenities are surprisingly provided as well, and as soon as I checked in the gentleman provided me hot tea. Was very good value for the money... I just wish there was more to do in Takaoka, but there's some decent day trips you can take from there. Would without a doubt stay there again if I went to Takaoka.
