Guest House Suzumeno Kakurembo er 2 stjörnu gististaður í Koyasan, 37 km frá Kishi-stöðinni og 44 km frá Matsushita-garðinum. The hosts were so kind! The facilities were very modern. Even though the toilets and shower were shared, it didn't feel like a bother and everything was so clean. It is very self service in case privacy is important for you.

Located in the sacred Koyasan area, Saizenin offers simple accommodation surrounded by mountains and many temples. Everything was good and helpful

The location, room, garden has awesome atmosphere- I loved the meditation session and the fire ritual! We stayed for two nights and took evening cemetery tour which was informative and mysterious at the same time! Dinners are superb! I booked family room for two of us and it was great and spacious. I would recommend this place for anyone interested in Buddhism or with appreciation of esoteric teachings. Staff is caring and attentive!

Situated in Nachikatsuura, 1.6 km from Nachi Beach, Pension Sora features accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a shared lounge. Honestly everything was amazing. Great building, view, facilities, bedrooms, common room, clean and the price is ridiculously good. The host went above and beyond, driving me to the convenience store and bus station early in the morning, and sharing a beer with me in the evening and gave me the best restaurant recommendation. Location very good for Nachi Taisha too.

Comfort Hotel Kii Tanabe is set in Tanabe, 5.3 km from Tanabe City Museum of Art and 6.9 km from Kamitonda Concert Hall. Close to everything. Helpful staff. Great breakfast . Exceeded our expirations in every aspect. Great value for money

Boasting garden views, ゲストハウス柚 features accommodation with free bikes, a garden and a terrace, around 200 metres from Kumano Hayatama Taisha. A very kind and hospitable host who left us many thoughtful gifts — coffee, candies, and even ice cream in the fridge! The room was cozy and comfortable, and we especially loved the couches. The bath was a real treat after a long day of walking. We only stayed one night, but we wish we could have stayed longer — it’s such a lovely place!

NONAGASE GUEST HOUSE er gististaður með garði í Chikatsuyu, 300 metra frá Kumanokodo Nakahechi-listasafninu, 29 km frá Kamitonda-tónlistarhúsinu og 31 km frá Hosshinmon Oji-helgiskríninu. Due to limited availability when I booked, Nonagase ended up being a bit fancier than my usual accommodation choices – but I certainly didn’t regret it! The building and rooms were absolutely stunning, and they even have a lovely little beer garden. The staff were perfect as well. I’d highly recommend staying here!

簡易宿所 ふくろく is located in Shingu, less than 1 km from Kamikura Shrine, a 13-minute walk from Shingu Castle Ruins Park, as well as 1.4 km from Kumano Hayatama Taisha. Exceptionally nice. Wonderful rooms and clean easy shared facilities. The host was wonderful and so very kind.

Located in Shingu, 400 metres from Kamikura Shrine, 長徳寺宿坊 Temple Hotel has a garden, private parking and rooms with free WiFi access. Excellent location, convenient travel, clean and tidy indoor layout, complete facilities.

Set in Tanabe in the Wakayama region, with Kumanokodo Nakahechi Museum of Art nearby, 民宿 和合 Minshuku WAGO features accommodation with access to a hot tub. I enjoyed everything there, the food was delicious and after a long walk the room was very comfortable. The host was very nice and facilitated everything for our stay.
