The room was clean and comfortable, with everything I needed for a relaxing time. The staff was always kind and helpful. The location is also excellent, convenient for getting around and close to major attractions. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area. Hope to come back soon!

The location, room, garden has awesome atmosphere- I loved the meditation session and the fire ritual! We stayed for two nights and took evening cemetery tour which was informative and mysterious at the same time! Dinners are superb! I booked family room for two of us and it was great and spacious. I would recommend this place for anyone interested in Buddhism or with appreciation of esoteric teachings. Staff is caring and attentive!

Situated in Nachikatsuura, 1.6 km from Nachi Beach, Pension Sora features accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a shared lounge. Its just an amazing place. Very beautiful and comfortable, staff so kind, helpful and friendly. Food is so good. I will really come back for a longer stay.

Boasting garden views, ゲストハウス柚 features accommodation with free bikes, a garden and a terrace, around 200 metres from Kumano Hayatama Taisha. A very kind and hospitable host who left us many thoughtful gifts — coffee, candies, and even ice cream in the fridge! The room was cozy and comfortable, and we especially loved the couches. The bath was a real treat after a long day of walking. We only stayed one night, but we wish we could have stayed longer — it’s such a lovely place!

Everything was fantastic: the amazing staff we met, who took care of us the best way possible (thank you so much), delicious homemade food we ate (catering for our special requirements as well) , and beautiful home and room. Perfect stay - I would have stayed there for a week !

簡易宿所 ふくろく is located in Shingu, less than 1 km from Kamikura Shrine, a 13-minute walk from Shingu Castle Ruins Park, as well as 1.4 km from Kumano Hayatama Taisha. Undoubtedly, this place was one of the best accommodations I have been. The place is spotless. Seiko is a Super Host. She was very helpful to my request. Getting out of the train station you can turn to the left and after crossing the railway it is a two-minutes walk, there is a mini supermarket just in front of the accommodation and a big supermarket 4 minutes up the main road. The Villa is so adorable, if you have time for a little stroll, you will enjoy it. I strongly recommend it.

Located in Shingu, 400 metres from Kamikura Shrine, 長徳寺宿坊 Temple Hotel has a garden, private parking and rooms with free WiFi access. Very friendly and helpful host. Run me through all the equipment and helped with my luggage and time issue. Also the room is super clean and equipped with everything you need. Definitely recommend.

Set in Tanabe in the Wakayama region, with Kumanokodo Nakahechi Museum of Art nearby, 民宿 和合 Minshuku WAGO features accommodation with access to a hot tub. Excellent place to stay on the Kumano Kodo trail. Close to the bus stop. The host is very friendly. They offer excellent food. Our room was Japanese style. Very clean, comfortable and beautiful. I highly recommend this place.
