The location was perfect. Right next to the gondola, a short 1 minute walk. I skied to the G Square entrance after an awesome day on the slopes. There's a few bar/restaurants right next door. My room overlooked one of the runs. I could see the lifts and gondola from my room. Spacious bedroom with shared bathroom and sink just outside. Onsen downstairs. Dry room to leave my boots and snowboard overnight. Walking distance from the Bus terminal and the shops.

Matatagpuan sa Tsuruoka, 3.5 km mula sa Kamo Aquarium, ang Kameya Hotel ay naglalaan ng accommodation na may hardin at libreng private parking. Amazing Hotel, even though it is a very traditional and old place, the rooms are very modern and renovated with all the amenities one can think of. Onsen is good too, but very hot. The beach is literally just across the road! The rooms all have an ocean view. Staff is extremely friendly and breakfast is also great. Just watch out to book dinner if possible, as there are not many options to eat around town if you don’t want to take the car.

Really enjoyable stay with free flow of craft beers, cocktails, wines and sake. Well organised check in and briefing by friendly staffs who helped to moved luggage up to second floor. Very delicious Kaiseki Dinner and fantastic breakfast with well prepared beef steak...

Boasting natural hot spring baths, Hohoemino Kuyufu Tsuruya is located a 15-minute walk from JR Tendo Station, 50 km from Sendai. Beautiful property. The room was spacious! Even for Western standards. The private onsen was very nice. We did not try the public onsen. The staff were courteous and helpful. Although the staff had limited English proficiency, they all used a translation app to help with communication which was incredibly helpful.

Guests at Hayamakan can enjoy traditional multi-course meals and relax in the indoor/outdoor hot-spring baths. Nice staff and good service, excellent room and spa, food are also fine

Matatagpuan sa Tsuruoka, 24 km mula sa Kamo Aquarium, ang Tamonkan ay naglalaan ng accommodation na may hardin, libreng private parking, at terrace. Wonderful staff, absolutely delicious and beautifully arranged food, comfortable, spacious, and clean room, and really nice onsen. I would absolutely come back and wish I'd been able to stay longer! Very close to the beginning of the Mt Haguro climb, as well.

One of the best ryokans we’ve stayed at in Japan. The location feels straight out of a Ghibli movie, with over 300 years of history and an amazing atmosphere. We stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed some of the best Japanese food each day at the ryokan restaurant. Since both me and my partner have tattoos, we booked the private onsen every evening through reception. The real highlight was the staff. They went above and beyond to make our stay special, spoke good conversational English, and checked in daily to ensure everything was perfect. Highly recommended for an authentic, cozy ryokan experience!

Matatagpuan sa Yamagata, ang Guesthouse Mintaro Hut ay 18 km mula sa Zao Hotsprings Ski Resort. I absolutely loved this place. I especially enjoyed the nightly dinners where the host would cook a buffet-style meal for the guests. You're welcome to contribute as much (or as little) as you like via a payment box. No pressure. Dinners were delicious and very healthy, consisting mostly of vegetable-forward dishes. The owner, staff, and cat were wonderful.
