The view is impeccable (a clear view of Mt Fuji). The facilities were on point, as you’d expect from a glamping property. The staff was very hospitable (even dropped us to the station). Very good value for money.

It is an amazing place with helpful staff, the surroundings are so beautiful, and the view on Mt Fuji was the best I’ve seen. (If she shows herself). Would recommend, it’s really peaceful around the hotel.

There are shared bathrooms on the ground floor, and Mt. Fuji is visible on sunny days from several rooms. A TV is provided in the Queen Room. It was an excellent place to stay. We really liked the atmosphere of the hostel, it is very nice, and calm. Unfortunately we couldn't try the cafeteria but anything we we used was perfect and we had no trouble at all. We got more than I actually expected, but really everything just looks like the pictures.

Rakuyu is located a 5-minute drive from Kawaguchiko Station, and a free pick-up shuttle is provided. Popular Fuji-Q Highland amusement park is a 10-minute drive away. Rakuyu gave us a very good experience in our Kawaguchiko stay. Our room had the best view of the lake, the cocktails were heavy enough to replace dinner! And the shuttle from hotel to Kawaguchiko station made our stay easier to navigate. The private onsen was also a great experience (with a small additional cost).

On-site parking is free, and free pick-up from Kawaguchiko Station is offered from 14:00-18:00. Mount Fuji 5th Station for climbing is a 1-hour bus ride from Kawaguchiko Station. Excellent - If you want to see Mount Fuji, stay here - great views from the room, great rooftop bar, and you can soak in the onsen and gaze at the mountain. Short walk down to the lake. Highly recommended.
