The host, Michikusa, was very good with communication and offered to collect me from Kawaguchiko train station as well as drop me off the day I departed. This was a great help and very much appreciated! On check in Michikusa recommended a few points of interest to visit during my stay according to the weather. I managed to tick most of them off which made for a great day exploring the beautiful surrounding nature. The hostel is well equipped, comfortable and spotlessly clean. It was a pleasure staying there and I would 100% return on my next visit! Thank you!

Kagelow Mt.Fuji Hostel Kawaguchiko has been newly renovated in September 2015. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. There are shared bathrooms on the ground floor, and Mt. Wonderful stay and kind staff 🤍🤍 I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-prepared. But what truly made my experience special was the kindness of the staff, especially Minori, who was very helpful even after my stay. She kindly sent me my forgotten item from Japan with great care and attention. I really appreciate their professionalism and warm hospitality. I would be happy to stay here again when I visit Japan next time.

This is a beautiful luxury hotel with upscale design; delivers exactly what you would expect in terms of cleanliness and comfort. The onsen is a real highlight — relaxing and perfect for unwinding after a long day.

Overlooking picturesque Kawaguchi Lake in the serene Mount Fuji area, Rakuyu boasts comfortable guest rooms and natural hot spring baths. Free Wi-Fi is provided in the public area. Great location, offered free shuttle bus to Kawaguchiko station, as well as buffet breakfast and dinner included (and drinks!) It was a lovely place to be, and in all honesty you could have a wonderful time here without setting foot outside the hotel! I liked that you could also book a private onsen if you didn’t feel comfortable going to the communal onsen.

Right on the shore of the scenic Kawaguchiko Lake, Hotel New Century boasts spacious Japanese-style rooms overlooking the lake and Mount Fuji. Great dinner and breakfast beyond my expectations. We have a Japanese style room with mountain and lake view exactly as described. Onsen in the hotel is great especially the 7th floor
