Arranging a tuk-tuk for seeing the temples was also as smooth as a baby's butt.

The best thing about the Elephant was the staff. They were so friendly and made us feel welcome. We enjoyed the welcome drink and fruit and the free afternoon tea. The restaurant was very well presented and all the meals we had there were excellent. There were always tuk tuks available to take us anywhere and reception would negotiate a price and the drivers would wait for us wherever we went and bring us back to the hotel. We were grateful to have guides and drivers arranged through the hotel. The service was the best we have ever experienced. We absolutely loved out stay at The Elephant.

The hotel is perfectly located near many restaurants, bars and supermarkets. The room is very well maintained and the balcony has a good view. You can catch a great sunset from the hotel rooftop bar. The hotel packed a nice breakfast for us when we had an early morning temple tour. I would recommend this hotel to everyone. The staff is always smiling and polite.
