We had the opportunity to stay for one night. It is a very nice and beautiful place. It is a good place to sleep in peace and quiet. We recommend it. The beach is very close. We can walk to the beach. The food there was amazing. There was a person who cooked for us. It was very delicious. We liked it so much that we asked him to cook for us the next morning. He also cooked with satisfaction. We recommend you to go there once and spend your night.

The best accommodation we have experienced so far in Sri Lanka! Traveling around for over a week already. Beautiful, very clean, very new and comfortable and a very hospitable host. Ashok has a lot of experience managing hotels and it is obvious from the outset - he has arranged everything very well. Also, it is close to both beaches - Passikudah and Kalkudah ones. We loved our stay a lot.

Super clean room, delicious food and really helpful staff. Would definitely recommend. Short drive/walk to the beach. Not sure why it’s rated so low

It was comfortable with good AC. The family that runs the place was lovely. They can provide rental bikes and scooters if you need them. Thank you!

Nagtatampok ang Karpaha Sands ng mga libreng bisikleta, outdoor swimming pool, hardin, at shared lounge sa Pasikuda. This hotel had everything we needed for a week of total relaxation. The hotel is quite remote, which actually made it easier for us to take full advantage of everything it had to offer. We were so kindly upgraded to the Seed suite which was perfect as we were traveling with young children. The tent was unbelievable. Comfortable and luxurious. The massages are amazing too. The food though, out of this world. I made sure to try something different every day. So fresh! The staff were unbelievably friendly. From Umberto the manager who was a fabulous host, to Jude and the barman who were so kind to our kids. Jude even rode into town to get our 1 year a little dolly to play with. The barman (sorry we forgot his name 😬) spoilt our kids with ice creams and also my husband and I the most unreal cocktails (especially the Icy J&R). We also used the transport which the hotel can provide and it was very comfortable, even for a long drive. I could go on about how amazing this place is, but I think we’ll just have to go back again!

Situated in Kalkudah, Sun Siyam Pasikudah offers peaceful and comfortable accommodation with free WiFi access. A wonderful place: spacious, clean rooms and very friendly staff. Special thanks to the hotel manager, who was welcoming and helped resolve an issue with the air conditioner extremely quickly. Good sleep is very important when traveling, and it was truly appreciated. The hotel’s beach area is clean and well maintained. We came mainly for snorkeling, but unfortunately at this time the water was murky and the coral reef seemed dead. However, the beach itself is long and public, perfect for long walks. We stayed for two days, and during that time both breakfasts and dinners were very enjoyable (we chose from the menu). There is a large swimming pool. The massage therapist was excellent — special thanks for the high level of professionalism. I have a lot to compare with. Overall, there is plenty of activity: evening movie screenings, billiards, a bar, and more. We personally preferred enjoying nature and a calm, relaxing stay. The gym was small but had everything necessary; the only downside was that it felt stuffy, so it’s better to turn on the air conditioning in advance. Everything was great!

The eco-friendly Maalu Maalu Resort & Spa - Thema Collection sits on the sandy shores of Passekudah Bay on the east coast of Sri Lanka. We stayed at Maalu Maalu Resort & Spa for 8 nights and were 100% satisfied. The food was excellent, with plenty of variety - spicy local dishes, continental options, lots of seafood, fruits, and yummy desserts. It was easy to find kid-friendly meals, and the restaurant staff were top-notch. Our cottage was spacious, quiet, and very comfortable, with great soundproofing from top neighbors. Housekeeping was fast and flawless special thanks to Thasitha and Viraj for keeping everything spotless. The resort was peaceful and not too crowded. The pool was clean and well-designed for both kids and adults, with a nice bar nearby. The beach was beautiful and perfect for swimming in June. We also loved the kids’ animation. Richie, the animator, kept kids entertained with fun activities, giving parents time to relax. He was friendly, creative, and great to chat with. This was one of the best hotels we’ve stayed in - clean, cozy, family-friendly, and well-managed. Highly recommended!
