Located in Kandy, 3.2 km from Ceylon Tea Museum, Mirage Kandyan Heights provides accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge. An incredible view and a staff to match! The hotel may seem a bit austere at first, with a few small shortcomings (for example, a reading lamp by each bed would be nice), but nothing essential. The staff and service are excellent, and the manager is very involved — he asks for feedback every day and genuinely cares about guests’ comfort. Although the hotel is a little farther from the city, the distance is more than compensated by the stunning view, fresh air, and peaceful atmosphere. I wholeheartedly recommend Madu’s cooking! He’s an excellent chef — the beef is delicious (even if it’s not Argentinian), and the soup, his specialty, is outstanding. I doubt I’ll ever return to Kandy, but if I do, this is definitely where I’ll stay again.

Situated near Kandy Museum and Sri Dalada Maligawa, Terrace Kandy is in Kandy and features free private parking and a restaurant. Great place to stay in Kandy. The hotel staff provided very friendly and helpful service. While searching for hotels in Kandy, I found many budget hotels with lower rates on Booking.com, but this hotel truly deserves a higher ranking. The location is a little difficult to reach, but PickMe makes it easy, and the hotel also provides tuk-tuk services at reasonable prices to visit Kandy. The view is perfect, and overall we were very satisfied. Highly recommended for all tourists looking for a comfortable, budget-friendly hotel.

Situated in Kandy and with Kandy City Center Shopping Mall reachable within 1.5 km, Eden Kandy features a garden, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi throughout the property and a shared lounge. My stay was absolutely wonderful, Udaya made sure that I have lovely time at the property but also was very present both before my arrival - by sending me all necessary information and also after me leaving - by arranging transport and sending me off with handwritten instructions for bus driver. He is an absolute treasure. Rooms and facilities are as illustrated in pictures, very clean, fresh and beds were comfy.

The most outstanding asset of this hotel is its stuffs and their service. Mr. Bathiya and other stuffs were really attentive and helpful. When I asked about the opening hours of the museum before my departure for Sri Lanka, he even took the labour of visiting the museum in person and found out it was open on Sundays. He said the museum did not answer his call. They also advised me to dine not at a fancy and touristy restaurant but at a good restaurant frequented by local people. I could enjoy delicious local food eating among the local people. Also, I accidentally left some medicines in the room when I checked out, and Mr. Bathiya have them delivered to my next accommodation without any charge. This is an incredible show of hospitality. The location is good also. The hotel is in a quiet residential area near the lake and it is only about 10 to 15 minutes to the town centre. The room and linens were of course very clean.

Hemaka is truly the kindest person in the world – he welcomed us with cake and a mojito, always smiling, helpful, and so polite. It was an absolute pleasure to meet him! The accommodation was excellent – comfortable, with a stunning view, everything was just perfect. Highly recommended!

The view and the locations are beautiful. We loved the room, the pool with the view and the amazing breakfast. The people are amazing, they were so nice bringing candles for my friend’s birthday. We enjoyed everything!!!
