Everything about our stay was wonderful. The staff (especially ‘Pali’) were so helpful and friendly. The accommodation is a 10min drive from the village. Whenever we were in need of a taxi we just had to send them a message and they dropped us off with a smile. Rooms were very comfortable, foreseen of everything you need. Nice breakfast as well! They have plenty of tours available, you just have to say what you want to do and they arrange the rest.

We emailed the hotel, and it worked out that one of the owners could help drive us. For an affordable price, we then spent the next day and a half with him. First from KL to Cameron highlands, learning all about Malaysian culture, stopping for wild durian on an epic drive through the jungle. Then a private local tour through the tea plantations, lunch at his favourite Indian restaurant in town, an amazing jungle trek to a peak overlooking Cameron Highlands, a visit to the Buddhist temple and refreshments overlooking the golf course. He recommended sunset on the rooftop of the hotel and dinner in town and both were amazing. We were taken in by a local and it was so special. The next day he offered to take us on Penang and we jumped at the offer. On the way we stopped in Ipoh at another Buddhist temple built into caves and a mountain. Incredible. And local delicacies in the cultural old town.
