The private bathroom was clean, water was hot. We could cook our meals on the open fire. At the reception we could relax, have a nice beer. The reception itself is also wonderful with a lot of artwork. It is evident from all the beautiful details that this place is a real passion and mission of the owners. The lady was very kind and provided useful information on the places to visit. They have some own hiking trails - all wonderful :) This place was such a wonderful and peaceful experience, fully recommended!
Little Sossus Campsite

They provide fire to warm up the water for the shower. It has electricity and you can park underneath to have coverage in case of wind. There is a little store and wifi! The owner is really lovely!

Right from the main gate, seeing animals as you drive in, right through the checking out, everything was beautiful. The setting of the large, comfortable tents in the quiet of the desert; the fantastic dinner braai packs with venison steak, salad, home-made bread and even a dessert (as we were not set up for camping, we were given crockery to use for our meal); the swim in the fish pond/pool with mountains in the background; the long shared breakfast table, where we met interesting fellow travellers. The owner Anna and Ernst at reception, who were both lovely, and the beer in the fridge there which was always cold :). We are seriously considering going back there for a longer stay!
