Set in the Skjæringa area of Longyearbyen, Mary-Ann's Polarrigg is built with old rigs. Central Longyearbyen is between 6-8 minutes walk away and the airport bus stops right in front of the hotel. Absolutely everything, one of the best places i've ever stayed in.

The location is perfect for exploring the town, and it’s easy to select any hotel as the pickup spot for excursions. This apartment is super close to the main shopping area, and the tourist office. We had a small issue with the shower, and I messaged the host, who came over within an hour to fix it, which was spectacular! If you are sensitive to light, bring an eye mask, as there is a street light in front of the property that sneaks through the light blocking curtains.

The breakfast was great with a wide spread to cater to all, they were also happy to fetch particular foods or drinks for visitors (I noticed) that weren't otherwise available in the general buffet. The room was very comfortable and spacious. It was a great stay and can't wait to go back again!
