The hosts were very responsive and greeted us late in the evening when we had arrived. They also send a check in message that I had missed in the chat- clearly explaining how to access the key for the room etc.

Parking is up by the owners home but the B&B chalet is set behind and very private. You are invited to sit in the small orchard next to the property and even pick fruit if in season. You have views of the ocean and we listened to this during the night. Continental breakfast was provided and it was lovely. The bathroom is private however in a small building next door to the chalet... all worked out well and we had a very comfortable night here

Two Palms er staðsett í Gisborne, aðeins 300 metra frá Waikanae-ströndinni og býður upp á gistirými með garðútsýni, ókeypis WiFi og ókeypis einkabílastæði. Such a quaint little stay. Unfortunately there for a Tangi and last minute decision to not drive tired. Absolutely loved loved loved the beds and pillows, so much so, I had to come home and buy that mattress. It was like sleeping on a cloud. The Host Nic was very courteous and accommodating your every need (next time I'll make sure to include some preferences and read the compendium haha) . Above and beyond service. Great breakfast, refreshments and well equipped little kitchenette. It was located on the Road where I first lived in Gisborne, right opposite my old school Awapuni school. Great off street parking, and I noticed you can also charge an electric car there for all the electric car owners. Close to the beach (went for a metal detect) close to town and very quiet. I am defintely going to recommend to others who visit Gisborne. It was very nostalgic for me and bought back so many memories after being away a good 29 years. Super chuffed with my stay. PS. I now know how to use a smart TV as well :)

Waikanae Beach Ocean View Apartments er staðsett í Gisborne, nokkrum skrefum frá Waikanae-ströndinni og 1,1 km frá Midway-ströndinni og býður upp á garð- og sjávarútsýni. Lovely apartment, right on the coast with fabulous views. Quite handy for town restaurants. Excellent brewery and chip shop both on the doorstep.

Whispering Sands Beachfront Motel is situated on Waikanae Beach, just a 10-minute walk from Gisborne city centre. Beautiful location. Spacious apartment and very clean. All staff very super helpful.

White Heron Motor Lodge is just 2 minutes' drive from the centre of Gisborne and 7 minutes' drive from the beach and the airport. Room was clean, bed comfy, shower and spa very nice. And the lady at reception was very friendly. This is how all accommodations should be.

Ocean Beach Motel offers comfortable accommodation in Wainui Beach, just 5 minutes’ drive from the Gisborne city centre. Our host, Caro, was super nice and gave us a great room and restaurant recommendations. Room was large and comfy. The terrace at the back of the room was a nice surprise.

Nelson Road Cottage is a recently renovated apartment in Gisborne, where guests can make the most of its garden and terrace. This apartment provides barbecue facilities. It was so quiet and clean. Wolf and Megan are lovely people.
