The owner, Bang, is incredibly warm and hospitable. When we found out that we couldn’t go island hopping due to the typhoon, Bang took us to a nearby beach for snorkeling on his motorcycle. Especially considering that his motorcycle could only take one passenger at a time, he made an extra trip to pick up the other person—that was so kind of him. He also took us out for breakfast. Everything was just perfect. We will definitely stay here again next time we visit.

Kookoo's nest eco-lodge er staðsett í Siaton, 40 km frá Robinsons Place Dumaguete og býður upp á gistingu með garði, ókeypis einkabílastæði, einkastrandsvæði og verönd. Great place for unwinding and for staying away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The owners, staff, doggos and even other guests were nice and friendly. Perfect for people who love chasing sunsets. ☺️

We stayed here around Christmas time for a ‘special get away’. The eco resort was beyond expectations. Such a beautiful paradise,far away from the hustle and bustle, chaos and noise. Its location is quite remote, but with the instructions of our hosts quite easy to get to. We loved the set-up of the resort. It has a beautiful big garden, pool, and the cutest cottages. We stayed in the one with the closest sea view, with a private bathroom underneath. The place had exactly what we were looking for: space to relax, do yoga, enjoy nature, and a focus on eco friendly tourism. Including the cutest animals and their owners living in harmony together:)

Situated in Dauin, 17 km from Robinsons Place Dumaguete, Critter Republic Dive Resort features accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. I really enjoyed the way the staff treated me. Their relaxed pinoy nature made me feel calm and confident. Apo Island is a serious site. Coconut drifting was the peak for me.

Offering a garden and garden view, Ging House Rental is located in Dauin, 600 metres from Dauin Beach and 14 km from Robinsons Place Dumaguete. We took a risk because it had so few reviews and boy are we glad we did! Absolutely amazing property! It has a full kitchen, comfortable bed, wifi, and the whole house to lay out in. We were diving in Dauin for a week and walked to Bongo Bongo (5 minutes?) and are glad for the peace and quiet. The host family are so kind and spent so much time making sure we were happy. Couldn't have been happier to stay and can't wait to stay here again the next time we're in Dauin. P.S. the host family lives 40 meters away, so it's incredibly easy to check in and out!

New, clean and tidy place. The host and staff are amazingly friendly and make you feel welcome. They helped me when I wanted to rent a scooter, finding transportation for my next destination and replied to all my concerns. I liked the option for a single visitor room. I didn't need more than that.
