Staying at Casa Dona Antonia was like stepping into a medieval dream. From the moment we arrived in the magical hilltop village of Monsaraz, we were completely enchanted. The sunsets here are the most breathtaking we’ve ever seen ,paired with local wine, fresh bread, olive oil, and the warm hospitality of the people, it was perfection. The lemon tree garden, the peaceful pool, and the endless views across the Alentejo landscape are memories we’ll cherish forever. A special thank you to Sr. Carlos for the heartfelt welcome and the delicious homemade breakfasts , they truly made us feel at home. We’re heading back to London with our hearts full of saudades already. We’re definitely coming back, and I honestly couldn’t recommend Casa Dona Antonia more!

The bed was very comfortable; room was well lit and also had good blackout curtains with a thoughtful design, good for travelers with a nice desk and excellent shower. Good breakfast and free parking and great staff. We loved the location to walk around the old city and wish we had stayed 3 or 4 nights rather than just 2.

A lot of activities for the kids, small and big. There was a program for almost the whole day for the kids organized by the hotel, the farm animals left us with some core memories. Host was super helpful and I really appreciated the coffee/tea and snacks available. This place has everything you need. I will be back!

It was owned by his grandmother and he has made it a welcoming space for travellers in her name. There is a generosity felt within the welcome of the space itself and noted with the free gifts, a glass of wine, a coffee, ice dispenser, free washing machine and tumble dryer. Wonderful map of The Fisherman's Walk, great selection of books and letters displayed from guests. Everything was very clean.

Evora Olive Hotel is well located and within easy walking distance of the city center. The rooms are clean, modern, and very comfortable. The hotel has a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. The staff are kind and always helpful. Breakfast is tasty and offers a good variety. Overall, a great place to stay in Evora and highly recommended.
