The village is a great place to stay at night. It's very calm and wonderful, especially at sunset. The room was small but we didn't need more. It had everything we needed. The equipment is modern. From the room, we had a nice view over the area surrunding Monsaraz. If you want to visit Monsaraz, you should plan to stay the night (at Casa Dona Antonia)

The meals were generous and absolutely delicious.

The cheff created a lovely dinner for all the guests by candlelight. The owner of the hotel stopped by and assured all his guests. A big thanks to all!!

We enjoyed both the dinner and the breakfast buffet, and every dish tasted fresh, flavorful, and rooted in Alentejo's traditions. Our spa massage was another highlight, fully relaxing and beautifully done. The entire property felt carefully designed to inspire calm, with elegant amenities and thoughtful touches everywhere. What made the stay unforgettable, though, were the small moments: walking along the wooden viewpoints by the lake, savoring the peaceful landscape, and exploring the "Horta do Chefe" where we met baby goats and other animals. It felt like being connected to nature without giving up any comfort. Octant Évora captures the soul of Alentejo: slow, warm, delicious, and full of life. I can't wait to come back in the summer and enjoy it all over again, this time with even more sun, pool time, and long walks by the water :)

It was owned by his grandmother and he has made it a welcoming space for travellers in her name. There is a generosity felt within the welcome of the space itself and noted with the free gifts, a glass of wine, a coffee, ice dispenser, free washing machine and tumble dryer. Wonderful map of The Fisherman's Walk, great selection of books and letters displayed from guests. Everything was very clean.

With a contemporary, minimalist décor, the 4-star Évora Olive Hotel offers accommodation in the heart of Évora and features free WiFi throughout. Very central location in the city centre with spacious parking garage free of charge. We decided to take the breakfast for 12 EUR per person and felt this very reasonable considering the bufet. Rooms were clean with very comfortable beds. In addition, the gym was ok, not too big but ok for a short training.
