This is one of the best places i have ever stayed. The location is very close to the volcanoes national park center, the house is beautiful and well structured, the caretaker is amazing and even the possibility to order (super tasty) dinner from the main hotel is a great add-on. Of course, all of this is topped by the fact that staying here means you support a very nice organisation, which is doing a remarkable job. This is one of my most straight-forward recommendations, there is no way i am back in Rwanda and don’t visit it.

Their kindness, communicative smiles, generosity, attention to details, their joy (the dancers put a smile on your face from the moment you arrive), talent (the Chef is wonderful), and sympathy....I could go on and on.

Sitting by the beautiful fire with a hot cup of tea in the afternoon, surrounded by nature, was simply magical. It created such a peaceful and cozy atmosphere after a day of exploring. The food deserves special recognition. Breakfast and dinner at the hotel were absolutely outstanding. The chef is exceptional — every meal was prepared with so much love and attention to detail. The local food was incredibly delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. You can truly taste the passion in every dish. The tents (rooms) were exceptional. Extremely comfortable, beautifully designed, and perfectly integrated into nature. Waking up in the morning to that breathtaking view of the volcanoes was unforgettable. And after traveling through East Africa for three months, having consistent hot water and a proper hot shower was such a luxury. Showering while enjoying a stunning view of the volcano — that is something truly special. This place is a hidden gem and highly recommendable for anyone staying in the region for gorilla or monkey trekking. It offers the perfect mix of adventure, nature, comfort, and relaxation. The views are incredible, the atmosphere is peaceful, and the people give their whole heart to this hotel. You can truly see how dedicated they are — the hospitality is next level.
