He gave us a full education on Rwanda and is the most wonderful ambassador for his country. The breakfast and Felicity serving it were exceptional. The fireplace in the room, hot water bottle, massage, sauna, all brilliant.

The food deserves special recognition. Breakfast and dinner at the hotel were absolutely outstanding. The chef is exceptional — every meal was prepared with so much love and attention to detail. The local food was incredibly delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. You can truly taste the passion in every dish. The tents (rooms) were exceptional. Extremely comfortable, beautifully designed, and perfectly integrated into nature. Waking up in the morning to that breathtaking view of the volcanoes was unforgettable. And after traveling through East Africa for three months, having consistent hot water and a proper hot shower was such a luxury. Showering while enjoying a stunning view of the volcano — that is something truly special. This place is a hidden gem and highly recommendable for anyone staying in the region for gorilla or monkey trekking. It offers the perfect mix of adventure, nature, comfort, and relaxation. The views are incredible, the atmosphere is peaceful, and the people give their whole heart to this hotel. You can truly see how dedicated they are — the hospitality is next level.
