The place was average - on par with the price. The location is quiet but a bit distance from everything. The wifi is much slower than my mobile Internet, but stable. The owners attitude was not nice at all!

The host was very friendly and helpful, he met us when we arrived, quickly explaining everything. The place was comfortable, clean, everything is cozy. There is a really nice view in the garden! The sauna was very-very good after our skiing/road trip :)

I stopped over for one night on my motorcycle trip and would have loved to stay a bit longer. The apartment was super cosy and there was everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The hosts were very friendly and attentive!

Our hosts, Chris and Tom, were super friendly, chatty, and genuinely caring—we really enjoyed their company. The property itself is lovely: very clean, calm, and with a beautiful view from the room. It truly felt like home. The room, bathroom, and toilet were all perfect. The only small point is that the room isn’t very soundproof, though we were lucky to have quiet neighbors. Also, there was no hairdryer in the room. The shared kitchen is big, fully equipped, and kept spotless. Breakfast was more than satisfactory—we had it all four mornings and were very happy with it. It’s comparable to what you’d get in a good 2–3 star hotel. The surroundings are wonderful, with a small scenic lake nearby and plenty of outdoor activities available, such as biking, e-biking, canoeing, ... Overall, we were truly satisfied with our stay. We highly recommend this place and will definitely be coming back!

Þessi gististaður er staðsettur 18 km norður af Sälen, í 3 km fjarlægð frá veiðistöðum í Västerdal-ánni. Það býður upp á ókeypis Wi-Fi Internet, gestaeldhús og garð með garðhúsgögnum og grillaðstöðu. I loved the warm homely welcome, the freshed baked bread, and "grandmas waffles". My highlight was the meaningful conversations with other travellers and a traditional wood fire sauna under a wintry full moon - magic!

Hotel Bügelhof er staðsett á Lindvallen-skíðasvæðinu í Sälen og í aðeins 50 metra fjarlægð frá skíðalyftunum. Boðið er upp á herbergi með innréttingar í sveitastíl. The whole atmosphere of Hotel Bügelhof was great thanks to the nice interior design and the fantastic staff. We loved also the breakfast, which offered a huge variety (you must try the waffles!). The location is very conveniently located to get on the slopes and that free parking is included makes it also a worry free stay. When going next time to Sälen, I will certainly stay again at Hotel Bügelhof.

Everything was excellent. The room was very clean, well equipped (kettle, pots, pans, coffee machine, towels, cleaning supplies, shoe warmer etc.), and comfortable. Location is also fantastic, close to both Sälen and Kläppen, as well as many cross-country tracks. Breakfast was very good, and the host very accommodating. We will absolutely return here when in the area. Thank you, Thomas!

Set on Sälen’s Östfjället mountainside, this charming hotel is just 200 metres from Högfjället’s ski lifts and 10 minutes' walk from cross-country tracks. Lovely old hotel which although out of season was fully operational with great management and menu options Quite difficult to find fully open hotels in Northern Sweden in May so this was brilliant

Bondasgården is a recently renovated bed and breakfast in Lima, where guests can make the most of its garden and barbecue facilities. Very nice staff, excellent breakfast. Good location if you want to ski in Kläppen.
