Lovely place, very clean and tidy, pool was perfect. The best part about the stay was the hosts as they were so helpful the whole time and made sure we were always happy and sorted when it came to trips.

Absolutely loved La Teranga. Ibou could not have been more helpful and his communication is excellent. The chef is outstanding, the room spotless and the security man always around. A wide selection of trips are available. The village is local and the people are very friendly and welcoming. Definitely recommend a visit to anyone wanting an adventure in this fabulous part of Senegal.

Keur Niaye was the absolute highlight of our travels in Senegal. Celine and Gilles are fantastic hosts, staying with them feels like being invited into their home rather than just renting a room. Their hospitality, friendliness and warmth creates a wonderful atmosphere where every guest feels welcome. Having one table where guests and hosts gather for breakfast and dinner is a great way of getting to know each other and to share stories, experiences or tips for activities in or around Toubacouta. And there is a lot! Celine and Gilles have been an invaluable help with arranging the various trips for us, both canoeing in the mangroves, a boat trip to a bird island, an excursion to the Fathala wildlife reserve and much more. All food is prepared at the guesthouse by Celine and her staff and it is nothing short of outstanding. The jam is homemade, the yoghurt is homemade, the honey is local from the mangrove... and the three-course dinners are pure luxury. Every day! I even got a birthday cake and "Happy Birthday" sung in four different languages on my birthday. This is exactly the kind of guesthouse we are looking for on our travels and we are incredibly happy and thankful to have found Keur Niaye.

Offering an outdoor pool, Fathala Wildlife Reserve is located in Toubakouta. The property offers a wildlife experience. Free private parking is possible on site. Beautiful place in the reserve. staff and owners are very friendly. I've been sick during our stay and everyone was very helpful and caring.

Offering an outdoor pool and a spa including a wellness centre, Les Palétuviers is located in Subikouroto. Free Wi-Fi access is available. Location of the hotel is superb, right in the middle of the delta Saloum, surrounded by the mangrove trees. The hotel has a magnificent view on the lake and the stay in the tree house was another adventure on its own.

The apartment is great - very modern (they recently opened so everything is new), very nicely furnished, comfy beds, good A/C and wifi.

Matatagpuan sa Toubakouta, 24 km mula sa Fathala Wildlife Reserve, ang Toubacouta Lodges ay nag-aalok ng accommodation na may outdoor swimming pool, libreng private parking, hardin, at terrace. Beautiful Lodge much nicer than it's photos. Lovely pool and view over the jetty. Super comfy beds and well decorated rooms. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Dinner was good.

Nag-aalok ng mga tanawin ng pool, ang B & B Mariamacounda sa Toubakouta ay nag-aalok ng accommodation, outdoor swimming pool, hardin, terrace, restaurant, at bar. We really liked the B&B in general but were especially impressed with the excursions that were offered. David gave us a guided boat tour where we visited the small nearby island towns of Sipo and Missirah and it was one of the highlights of our trip. Jenny was also very helpful with the logistics (especially because I don't speak French!) and helping me organise our time in Senegal. El Hadj is their taxi driver and we organised pretty much our whole trip throughout Senegal with him - he was fantastic. And there are a few restaurants nearby with delicious food. The breakfast offered at the B&B was delicious. Thank you!
