We were booked to stay at this property but minutes before we booked apparently another party did a walk in and secured the room before the owners managed to take it off-line for the day. When we arrive, we were told that the hotel had been double booked. Luckily the owners owned another building just at the bottom of the road that was brand new modern and clean. The owner refunded us the difference in the property and for the fact that this new property didn’t have breakfast facilities, but that wasn’t the problem the next morning we walked just down the road and found a rather nice local restaurant that made us a great breakfast If the owner recommends you to a restaurant for the evening, follow his advice we went there. The food was absolutely superb on a great location on the river, but take your bug spray as you will be eaten alive from mosquitoes. If you are not well prepared otherwise you can sit inside like we did. The owners and staff are very friendly, and when we left even brought us over a huge bunch of bananas for our journey, which was much appreciated

This place has its own charm. The location is great, close to the walking street and bus stop. They offer free bicycles to explore the area. Above all, the owners (Khun Yai and Khun Noi, if i remember correctly 🙃) were genuinely kind, hospitable and helpful during my stay. Definitely i will stay here again.

Nachan The Antique Courtyard is located in Chiang Khan and features a garden. There's a year-round outdoor pool and guests can use free WiFi and free private parking.

Beautifully designed and spacious bungalows in a well kept garden. You can stroll around the garden admiring the roses, flowers and trees. Lots of places to sit and relax. All the buildings are sparkling and new: breakfast has both Thai and Western choices with fresh fruit. It’s a short drive to Walking Street. Khun Jeab, the owner, is amazing. So friendly and helpful. She recommended lovely cafes overlooking the Mekong away from the crowds. She has fantastic knowledge of the area and really looked after us. We stayed another night and didn’t want to leave. A relaxing break in beautiful surroundings and a short “hop” to the action when you want to do the tourist things like cycling along the Mekong or a boat trip. Highly recommended.

location: very near to walking street, and Thai Laos port Rooms so smart and clean, service not hotel it's just room for rent for the house you will not see more staff for the asking, you will see only one person to open the rooms for you. I guess she is living next door. the house has 7 rooms if you book all you will own the house if not you need to quiet living together with other rooms so sometimes your sound makes the next room can't sleep or other make you can't sleep lol, for security: no staff in front of the house you need to take care your selt
