I stayed one night at Hotel Hillora on Princes’ Island and was genuinely impressed by the experience. From check-in to check-out, everything was perfect. The room was clean and cozy, the view was breathtaking, and the breakfast was generous and delicious. I was also warmly welcomed with coffee upon arrival, a lovely touch. The staff made the stay memorable. The manager, Onur, the receptionist, Guday, and the rest of the team were incredibly professional and kind and spoke English well. Their hospitality exceeded all expectations. They suggested we visit a church on the island, which was a perfect hike. I was initially booked just one night at Hillora and six nights at a 5-star hotel in Istanbul. However, Hillora’s service, atmosphere, and breakfast were far superior. I regret not booking more nights here.

A very lovely, cozy, and quiet place to relax. Hale and her family welcomed us so warmly into their home. The room we stayed in was clean and comfortable, with everything we needed for our stay. We also had a terrace and a kitchen, which we shared with the guests from the neighboring room. Another great bonus was that we could use the washing machine for a small fee. Hale told us about the island and the history of the house, and gave us great recommendations about nearby beaches. She was always available and ready to help, and we truly felt her care throughout our entire stay. I highly recommend staying with her if you’re planning a trip to Büyükada. We’ll definitely come back to Hale when we return to Turkey. Thank you, dear Hale, for creating such a wonderful atmosphere during our vacation in your home!
