It was very clean and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The shower was very hot and powerful so perfect after a day hiking. Breakfast was cooked fresh each morning by the owners, and included delicious homemade dough sticks. The children loved being able to play in the garden and seeing the chickens, rabbits and turtles. The location was in a quiet area on the edge of town but still in walking distance of a 7-11 and restaurants.

水秀一方Sun Moon Lakeside Boutique Hotel is located in Yuchi, in the Sun Moon Lake district. There is a terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. It looks very new and the location is great, facing the lake! Though they do not have staff on site, they respond quickly via the booking.com message! The huge bathtub was a great surprise coz they provided some onsen powder and we enjoyed the bath soak! Skin felt smooth after the bath soak! New towels and water, drinks, snacks were provided and topped up the next day outside our door!

Located in Puli, 埔里北梅民宿BEI MEI Homestay可包棟 offers a shared lounge. This property offers access to a patio, free private parking and free WiFi. The bed and breakfast features family rooms. Very clean room and very comfortable bed. The place is located in a quiet area and we had such a great sleep. The breakfast was from outside - was ok (if I am not mistaken it was soy milk and Chinese donut). Parking was available. If you get the room with the balcony, you can enjoy the view while having breakfast. Peaceful and lovely. About 20-30 mins drive to Sun Moon Lake. I’d recommend this place if you are traveling by car.

I spent three nights here and I wish I could have stayed longer - I absolutely loved it! It’s in the middle of nature which was so relaxing! The host is fantastic - hospitable, kind, responsive and speaks perfect english. He gave us recommendations on what to see and where to go. He also told us lots of things about Taiwanese culture which was so interesting!! The room was great - clean, spacious and the bed was super comfy. The house is huge and has a massage chair, terrace with a view, a big yard and so many other amenities guests are allowed to use. The host has three beautiful dogs. Definitely recommend staying here!

Located in Yuchi, 日月潭森堡萊夫莊園 provides a garden and bar. This property offers access to a balcony, free private parking and free WiFi. The bed and breakfast features family rooms. It was like staying in harry potter castle. Photos looked gorgeous. Complementary afternoon high tea and mini bar and breakfast were great too. We had the tree house and it was really big, and the bathtub was amazing. All was great except for the slide and bugs.

The kindness and generosity of the hosts, that welcomed us in a special way; the room, that was beautiful, big, and very clean; the view of the fields and the position, strategically positioned between the sun moon lake and the Alishan park.
