This facility has lots of Publix space. The basement has a large modern kitchen, eating area, Japanese style reading room and a laundry. The first floor has a check-in area and lovely coffee shop. My room upstairs was small but nicely laid out and the bathroom was clean if somewhat small. Honestly the hostel far exceeded my expectations. He location was excellent; near lots of restaurants and a gather space for a small market-like open area with a fre musicians. I would stay there again and recommend it to family and friends. The staff was very friendly and helped me call a taxi among other things. The cafe had an excellent selection of coffees and teas but a very limited breakfast menu. However the food I had for breakfast was delicious and I ate at other places for other meals.

Great and friendly staff, especially the young man who was very helpful and knowledgeable about the city. Definitely pick this if you like a mix of Japanese and Taiwanese culture. 9.5 score.

The food in the restaurant is great, best food we have had during our 2 weeks in Taiwan. We had to leave early and a take away breakfast was prepared, very much appreciated. If I have to mention a minor inconvenience, the wooden chairs in the room are a bit hard to sit on.

This was a fantastic stay - I want to go back right now! Very very clean, large bed room with chair, eating area and desk. I loved the view of the fields and pond from my window. Water cooler with icy water! (warm and hot too 😀). There were a lot of breakfast options for vegetarians which I appreciated. Free bottled water, fruit, coffee, tea, and snacks were also available all day. The staff was very kind and helpful. A lovely lovely stay.
