The location is ideal — just steps from a stunning, peaceful beach where I enjoyed morning walks and breathtaking sunsets. The area and the hotel felt very safe at all times, even in the evening. I truly appreciated the relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. The hotel itself is modern, clean, and beautifully maintained. My room was spacious and cozy, with a lovely view and all the essentials for a restful stay. But the real highlight was the staff — incredibly friendly, professional, and genuinely caring. From check-in to check-out, they made me feel at home. They were always ready to help, offer local tips, or simply check in to make sure I was enjoying my stay. If you’re traveling solo, especially as a woman, I highly recommend this hotel. I felt safe, supported, and completely relaxed the entire time. It’s the perfect spot for anyone looking to unwind by the beach with top-notch service. I can’t wait to return! 🌊🌞

Zula Zanzibar er staðsett í Paje, nokkrum skrefum frá Paje-ströndinni og býður upp á gistirými með útisundlaug, ókeypis einkabílastæði, garð og einkastrandsvæði. The immaculately clean boma was spacious with an excellent, oceanfront view to the pool below, the beach, and the impossible blues of the Indian Ocean. The restaurant right on the beach had a terrific chef and friendly staff. This total experience was excellent.

Babalao Bungalows has an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a shared lounge and terrace in Nungwi. Babalao Bungalow is a hidden GEM 💎 in Nungwi!! Location was everything and more! I had a phenomenal experience from start to finish! Max, the host/owner, went above and beyond...sharing details about restaurants in the area and a thorough description of how to navigate around Nungwi! I'm a solo traveler and I was super super comfortable at Babalao Bungalow! Best of all...I extended my stay and Max was super kind to accommodate me! The staff were very friendly and breakfast was exceptional! I got most of my breakfast packed up to go as most of my days was off site for tours and adventures! Thank you Thank you and Thank you Max and Staff for making this solo trip so memorable 💖 Bonus there is a super cute doggie!

With Paje Beach reachable in a few steps, Ananda Beach Hotel provides accommodation, a restaurant, an outdoor swimming pool, a garden and a private beach area. Excellent location, just in front of the beach, which is very important for Zanzibar, as you don't want to walk through local's houses to reach the beach, good breakfast, good coffee, staff was really friendly and was trying to help with anything.

Situated in Kiwengwa, a few steps from Kiwengwa Beach, Tembo Kiwengwa Resort features accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge. Breakfast was Good. Front Office staff stars- Swaumu, Edna, Esther and Ethan.

Situated in Nungwi, 400 metres from Nungwi Beach, Hostel 197 features accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a fitness centre and a garden. Probably the best hostel I stayed at. From the personnel to the amenities, everything was great and thought for you to have a good time. Things like menu breakfast or a welcome drink are always appreciated also ! 100% recommend

I had a really lovely stay at Golden Hotel in Nungwi. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and well located — close to the beach and restaurants, but still quiet. The pool area is great for relaxing. Special thanks to Sity for the excellent service. Friendly, kind, and always willing to help ❤️. Would happily stay here again.

Located in Pwani Mchangani Mdogo, a few steps from Pwani Mchangani Beach, The Soul Zanzibar Beach Hotel & Spa provides accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a... The staff and the owner were super nice. The hotel looked incredible and the whole place was calm and quiet. We also enjoyed the food in the hotel restaurant as well as breakfast.

Compass Hostel í Nungwi býður upp á gistirými sem eru aðeins fyrir fullorðna með garði, sameiginlegri setustofu og verönd. The beds are very wide and extremely comfortable. There are the curtains around each bed that provide extra privacy. The hostel is very clean, and the interior design is tasteful and cozy. The staff were friendly, kind and always ready to help. Another big advantage is that the hostel has its own generator, so even when there are frequent power outages, it doesn’t affect the stay.
