The two ladies of the house were so lovely and nice, telling us all the tips and to do's in and around Lucia. We did - on their recommendation - a game drive in Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Park, a self-drive in iSimangaliso and a boat trip in St-Lucia. All of them were incredible. They know the best companies in town for those activities. Besides that they offer ice packs and a box to keep your drinks and food cool when going out on a day to the beach or a self-drive, big thumbs-up for that! Breakfast was on point and the staff was always very polite. The rooms were clean and everything was there what we needed during our stay, just perfect. Lovely and nice ladies, we hope to see them back soon. We definitely recommend to stay here in the lodge!

The hosts are two of the kindest people I met while traveling in South Africa and made checking in to the property easy and welcoming. The room was absolutely perfect. Stylishly and thoughtfully decorated, the most comfortable bed, a lovely kitchen and washroom, and a beautiful front deck to enjoy the greenery. It was about ~20/25 minutes in an Uber from the airport and 10 minutes to the Intercape bus station. Great location and felt very secure the whole time as a solo traveler. I only wish I could have stayed longer. Highly recommend!
