Home family atmosphere. Staff very friendly and accomodating
We really loved this stay. The only issue was the super creaky floors.
Small flat perfectly furnished. The kitchen is fully equipped, making it perfect for preparing your own meals. The decorating is tasteful. We had a few brief chats with the very friendly owners. It’s close to the Littorail (i.e. local tram which track is along the lake side) and to the centre of Boudry, where there are outdoor terraces for having a drink. Pass touristique from Canton de Neuchâtel provided giving free use of public transportation (incl. Littorail) and free access to museums (we visited Musée de l'horlogerie du Locle that is quite small but great).
A beautiful and spacious home with a nice garden. A great location for visiting Neuchatel
I liked the rather remote location, kind of at the bottom of a ravine, at the end of the road. The A-frame unit was part of a house (maybe with other guests), but felt completely separate because of its entry orientation. The unit was spacious, cozy, clean, and comfortable. It was among our favorite places to stay in three weeks of traveling. The breakfast was generous and delicious; the outdoor setting was enjoyable. Wish we hadn't eaten dinner before arriving the night before; I'm sure it would have been wonderful. I also recommend going on a little hike on the trail/road at the park that is there. You arrive at the restaurant and the fellow (owner, family member of the owners?) running things was very personable and between my marginal French and his slightly more than marginal English we communicated adequately. Clearly, he wanted his guests to feel at home, and we did.
Everything. It's a truly cute historic hotel in a beautiful gorge I would never have found on my own. The rooms are nice, in a sort of historic-french decor. Breakfast is fantastic, nicely set, French bread, coffee to order, organic local yogurt, etc. Peaceful and quiet, a bucolic little river flowing by, walking trails, trees... it is all that it seems and more. Oh and fresh trout for dinner. What the French can do with a little butter, flour, lemon, and salt and pepper is amazing.
Great service and highly recommended!
Amazing property and super friendly owner! Very clean and fully equipped. Perfect for a stay in neuchatel
We had a very delightful stay in this old fashion and charming hotel. The room was prefect with a beautiful view of the lake and the garden. The hostess was always very helpful and answered all questions very quickly by message. Be aware that the restaurant might be closed if you stay there off-season. The breakfast that was served was excellent and all you needed for a good start of the day.
Air Bee&Bee is a quaint one-room studio lodging that was ideal for our family of 3. The place is about 15-20 minutes outside of Neuchatel, and has a beautiful view. The pocket grand piano and jazz piano were nice touches for our kid who could catch up on her practice. The shower is new, and the warnings of our host that the boiler has only limited capacity were overwrought, we had no problems showering. The washing machine was very helpful, as our trip spontaneously got longer than anticipated. The owner, Audric, is an absolute doll. He was very helpful, his recommendations for dinner (La Truite and Grande Sagneule) were on point, and he set us up with tea, honey, eggs and generally everything we needed. The place is pretty good value for what it offers, especially looking at general pricing in the area. Can recommend.
Great breakfast - lovely location & kind staff. Enjoyed the farm & gardens. The other guests were friendly too.
The large apartment is equipped with a comfortable kitchen, living room, bedroom and sanitary provisions and well located near the lake and at walking distance from the tram stop. The latter is very convenient for going to Neuchâtel.
Convinient location for going to the creux du van, and it's great that they offer dinner and breakfast. The room had everything we needed.
The location and the room itself
Staff adapted to our arrival and departure times (and prepared breakfast for us to take at 5am) and also prepared a special pre-race meal for us
I went with a friend, we were biking , great place to stay , we did request 2 beds , and we had 3 😁 Great breakfast, friendly people, we also could leave our bikes in a garage 🙏 Definitely recommend 👌
Linda and tom were so caring and attentive!
