United KingdomWe had a lovely stay and would happily come back. The host was friendly, professional and always quick to help whenever we needed anything, while also giving us plenty of privacy. The accommodation was clean, spacious enough for our family of two adults and two children, and the surrounding area was quiet and felt very safe. Overall, it was a wonderful experience.

We left early in the morning, and the receptionist told us she could have the coffee machine ready for us to use and have our coffees before going, but LORD i felt like a child when i saw they prepared 2 breakfast bags for us to take away!! I mean, that was extremely thoughtful! I stayed in hundreds of hotel but no one ever did that! I wS very impressed….

The view from our balcony took in the lake, the Alps and Montreux in the distance.
We loved that we could walk around the perimeter of Lake Geneva along beautifully tended pathways.
The hotel had a lovely old character.Although providing everything we needed, and was immaculately clean.
Our morning breakfast lady served us well with a delicious English and continental breakfast which we looked forward to.
The restaurant food was lovely with excellent wines on offer.

Location: 10 minutes drive from Montreux, close to the train station. Very nice and charming family-owned hotel. Very friendly and helpful hostess. Good breakfast, served on white tablecloth with silver-plated cutlery. Large parking lot behind the building (entrance from the side street), 6 parking spots in front of the hotel. Attached restaurant, looks like a part of the hotel (it was closed during my stay, probably due to off-season). Nice room on the top floor with the balcony with city view. Electrical wall outlets (Swiss and Italian) are different from the other European and American ones, so bring a plug adapter (the hosts may have a loaner, but I'm not sure).
