Nicola is so sweet and nice, she came to speak to us as soon as we arrived. Everything needed was there in place. Parking in front of cabin. Restaurant, supermarket, petrol station, pharmacy and train station few minutes away by car or walk all is accessible. Shower pressure and hot water perfect. Very quiet and serene.

Great stay. The place is fully renovated, very clean and comfortable. Everything felt new and well looked after. The host was very responsive and easy to communicate with, which made everything smooth. The location is excellent, close to everything you need. I will definitely stay again.

We liked the location, as it was perfect for us. We had arranged a big family reunion nearby. Beds were comfortable. TV was a bit confusing to operate, but, we hardly used it. All in all, a great experience.

Comfortable. Cosy. Had everything we needed for our stay and setting was incredible. Cannot leave a review without a well deserved praise for Liz and Brian as well. Went above and beyond to accommodate and even helped us out when the weather got the better of us and car was not playing ball in the snow.
Swallows Lodge
The host was so welcoming, checking in was straightforward, and we had a quick tour! The property is brand new and they have honestly thought of everything and finished it to the highest of standards. There were 5 of us, and we had plenty of room throughout the stay. The kitchen has everything you need for self-catering, complete with a large oven, dishwasher and lots of cooking utensils. The bedrooms each have their own full-size bathrooms, and the beds are really comfortable. The views from the property are stunning, and the grounds are quiet, peaceful and private. Considering you are only 35 minutes from Edinburgh city centre, it was such a nice balance to stay in the countryside and travel into the city with ease. We will certainly be booking again on our next visit to Scotland!

Everything was very clean and tidy. The room is not very big but there’s plenty of space for even 3 travelers. The bathroom was very clean and isolated from cold. Overall, a great choice if you’re planning a trip in Amadale or surroundings!

How quiet the location was, the cleanliness and how well detailed and thought out the book for the guests was. Bed was very comfy and didnt struggle for sleep, and the space in the cabin was perfect.
Great apartment in Whitburn – clean, cosy, and exactly as described. Perfect for a quiet, relaxed stay with parking right outside. Host was very responsive and made everything simple. Highly recommended
