Pet-friendly hotels and homes in Chichicastenango

The proximity of the hotel to the market was excellent - a five minute walk. I also appreciated the hallway water-purification system (clay pot inside a large plastic container) on the top floor. I would certainly stay there again.

Great location right off the central square for the market, but did not get busy or loud. It’s a fake old colonial building (built already as a hotel) but nicely done. There is some good old wood furniture. Almost everyone is here just for the market - it’s fine for a night for that.

Well located, the rooms and the place itself were beautiful. We had a room with garden for the dog that was nice and big. Open fire with wood ready in the room. We had a Bath in the room. Staff was friendly. The breakfast was good and they have a nice selection of tea.

The owner was very nice and engaging, and there's a very cute, sweet dog that stays in a box right in front of the hotel. The location was nice, close to the market and sites but a bit outside the action. It's a cute, small town, so it's easy to get around. The room is basic and has everything you need. It was a bit cold, but there were lots of blankets. The shower also had hot water and worked well. The Internet was fine, but not great, so I used my phone data instead some of the time.
