This property is incredible. We stayed here after summiting Acatenango and Fuego and it was the perfect place to recoup after such an activity. The place is massive and an active museum, restaurant and event place it seems. The spa is top notch and the hotel area in general is very high end. Having a fireplace in the room was a big surprise and we took the liberty to use it with the provided firewood and firestarter kit. Water, coffee, tea and snacks provided throughout the property in various places, we really regretted only staying here one night as multiple nights are really required to sample all the property has to offer. The spa restaurant provided food of a modern and high end European level which again surprised us with flavors and quality. Superb experience that's worth the money.

Everything! The location is great, the view on the terrace is amazing, the wifi works well, there are lots of communal spaces and the hosts Alvaro and Lupita are simply amazing. They are kind, caring and always happy to help. As a bonus, their dog Nala is extremely sweet and fun to be around!

Casa Alina was a tranquil oasis for my son and I where were able to prepare and rest after our climb up neighbouring Volcan Acatenango and Fuego. If you're looking for a quiet and peaceful place to relax, this is your place, as it is located slightly outside the busy, heavily walked cobblestone streets of downtown Antiqua. Views of three volcanos can be afforded from the spacious patio on the second floor, just outside the door of your room. The room, bed/bedding, bathroom and courtyard/patio are immaculately kept. Our host, Alina, was exceptionally wonderful and really took care of the two of us like we were family. It didn't matter that we weren't up for breakfast after our climb and instead, she gave us a delicious Guatemalan home-cooked lunch. Sometimes we had out of the ordinary requests that she happily was able to help us with. For example, because our climb and next flight both required an early morning wake up and drive, she not only arranged for reliable driver who was a personal friend to drive us, but she also got up at 4:45am with a gentle knock on our door to make sure that we were up and didn't miss our ride. On another occasion, she also helped us by calling the local pharmacy to have medication delivered for my son so that we didn't have to travel downtown and explain what we needed in our very poor Spanish. What hotel or airbnb owner would ever take the time or make the effort to do this ?! Alina - thank you so much for your warm and caring hospitality - our trip would have been so much more stressful and challenging without your help - you were truly our guardian angel : ) . In short, if you're looking for an overpriced hotel room or Airbnb in busy downtown Antigua, this is not your place. However, if you prefer a quieter, clean / safe place, where you feel like a local and part of real Guatemalan culture and truly be taken care of by someone who has your back, you need to book your stay here.

Nice place. Spacious, clean, and great location. Eight of us slept very comfortably here. The host was incredibly accessible and very quick with responses when I had questions prior to my stay.

The place was really great. Great location, communication with the property manager / owner. The house/apartment is really great. Very nicely equipped (furniture but also other details in the kitchen). The location is super easy. It was very helpful that there was also parking. I think it was one of the nicest places we have been to.
