Our stay was great, we loved the views from the cabins and the staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful.

I had the most incredible stay at Pugmarks Jungle Lodge in Wayanad, and it was truly a highlight of my travel experiences. Surrounded by the beauty of nature. The accommodations were charming and comfortable, perfectly blending rustic charm with modern amenities. I stayed in the newly built tree house, which offered stunning views of the surrounding forest. What made our stay truly exceptional was the owner Mr.Gopa Varma, who went out of his way to ensure we had an unforgettable experience. He personally took us on a night safari and a morning walk, sharing his deep knowledge and passion for the local wildlife and environment. During the walk, I was lucky enough to spot wild elephants—a moment that I will cherish forever! His enthusiasm and dedication to providing a meaningful experience were truly inspiring. The activities at the lodge are perfect for both adventure seekers and nature lovers. From thrilling wildlife safaris to peaceful nature walks, every activity is curated to connect you with the stunning wilderness of Wayanad. The food was another highlight—homemade, delicious, and tailored to different tastes. The warm hospitality, combined with the unique opportunity to explore nature up close, makes Pugmarks Jungle Lodge a must-visit destination. If you’re looking for a place where adventure meets tranquility and where the hosts treat you like family, this is it. I can’t wait to return and relive these amazing moments.

The nature there is beautiful.

The entire property at Kalidasa is beautifully maintained. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Everything was great about it. Few points that exceptionally stand out are - - Home made food offered - breakfast and dinner are as fresh and delicious as it gets. We absolutely loved the poori, kurma, appam, drum stick, jackfruit based other traditional dishes made to the perfection. - Cleanliness is top notch. The room and bathroom were spotless. The rest of the property is also very clean, felt like a 4 star property. - Ambience of the place - tranquil, beautiful, sufficiently connected with nature, with all the required comfort. The hammock is peace and coziness. Sitting in balcony gazing out at the nature while sipping your tailor made tea was bliss. We could take several walks around the area, it was fun and adventurous. - Hosting family - extremely warm and service oriented. I am very thankful to them for welcoming us and taking such good care of us. Our every request was met enthusiastically and no fuss. For ex. When asked for hot water to drink in the morning, Mr Sudheesh happily provided spices infused hot water which was quite therapeutic. - Pet support - Very friendly and supportive towards our adorable pet. Thank you so much!

We reached the resort on our own (self-driven), a little behind schedule. We were greeted by the GM (Mr. Ratheesh Nair). They were expecting us. The check-in procedure was a breeze and was expedited by the Front Office Manager (Ms. Shalini). The staff was very helpful and went out of their way to be of assistance. Room: The room was well appointed and the airconditioning, linen, toiletries, and mini-bar were well equipped. F&B: The buffet meals were well placed. However, the menu was the typical "pan-Indian" one. We were looking for typical Kerala cuisine, so we restricted ourselves to "a la carte". the staff gave us good advice on what combinations, and portions to order, and to put it in one word the food was "outstanding". Activities: Mr. Ratheesh and Ms. Shalini gave us good advice regarding the timings and what trips to take and that came in very handy in deciding the trips to take. Housekeeping: The housekeeping was efficient and the rooms were kept nice, clean, and well-equipped. Indoor Activities: The pool table, badminton court, and board games were maintained very well.

We made last minute plans to come to wayanad and we were really disappointed to learn that our trip might be a huge flop due to the rains and closure of safaris. That's when we discovered the cocoon Royale Resort. It was the best decision to come here as it saved our trip. The location, rooms, food and service was excellent. But the best part was the manager ( Rahul) who is very knowledgeable and passionate about nature. We had great walks near the resort and Kabini river that felt like walking in a forest. He also arranged the Brahmagiri hike for us. It was an amazing two days for us.
