Pet-friendly hotels and homes in Fonteno

We had a lovely stay in this house near Fonteno. It was the perfect size for our family of four and offered absolutely magnificent views over Lake Iseo and the surrounding mountains. Waking up to that panorama every day was a highlight of our trip. The shared swimming pool was a great bonus, especially during the warm summer days. Our kids loved cooling off after a day of exploring. The kitchen was very well equipped and had everything we needed to prepare meals at home. The owner was friendly, responsive, and provided excellent recommendations on places to visit and restaurants in the area. The location is ideal for exploring the charming villages around Lake Iseo and is a fantastic base for hiking and mountain biking enthusiasts. Overall, a wonderful place to stay in a beautiful part of Italy, and one we would gladly recommend to other families.

Tremendous view, peaceful, almost mystique atmosphere. We traveled a lot during the days and spent mornings and evenings at the property, it had everything necessary to cover our needs.

Exceptional location and view! Excellent communication with host. Don't overlook the restaurants and small shops right down the street from the apartment, everyone is so lovely, and the food is amazing!

Super cool experience staying in smack in the center of this authentic, vibrant Italian village. It's a trek to get up the winding mountain roads but well worth it! The local store acrothe street has everything you could possibly need and more. The fresh baked goods and produce each morning was to die for. The house itself was the best stocked home we've ever been to - it didn't just have pots and pans, plates, and silverware, it had everything you often have to buy yourself: from foil to ketchup and even a freezer bag for taking food out for an afternoon by the lake or hiking. The bathroom was also stocked with shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel. The beds were comfortable (most of the sheets were cotton, some were polyester, which is a bit sweaty in the august heat). The host was responsive and kind. Highly recommended!
