Pietro, the host, was so very kind and accommodating. He made us feel most welcome. The house and small courtyard garden are lovely. The rooms of the B&B are on the 2nd level in the attic floor. The decor is very tastefully done and the rooms and furniture appear quite new. A common area shared by the 3 rooms has a mini fridge stocked with water, an espresso maker with cups and sugar provided, a microwave, and a few plates and utensils. The common room also has a few comfortable lounge chairs. The room itself was small but thoughtfully appointed with 2 chairs, a small table, a desk and a closet with extra pillows and blanket. The room had its own heating/ A/C unit. The bathroom was also compact but had everything you would need including a spacious shower and toiletries. The breakfast was one of the best we had in our 5 weeks thus far in Sicily and Italy with tasty pastries, biscotti, and cornetti. The coffee was delicious too. The lakeside setting is very picturesque as is the surrounding countryside. The on-site parking was very convenient.

We stayed here one night while driving through Italy. The hostess was quite gracious. This facility was new. The room was clean, comfortable, quite, and had a great view. We definitely felt like we were not in a tourist trap. Breakfast was exceptional! More than a typical European continental breakfast. The Italian mountain villa ambience was wonderful. Nearby restaurant choices seemed plentiful and the one we chose was excellent; true local Italian restaurant (Santa Lucia).
