Deborah & Luigi were excellent hosts, and the B&B was everything we could have hoped for; it was clean, tidy, well-kept, centrally located, and with an interesting historical architecture and design to it. As a bonus, we were coming into town looking for help connecting with long-lost family members who lived in the area, and they were able to put us in touch with a couple of people who could help. We also had a great breakfast on the patio, getting to enjoy the mountain views and quaint town corridors.

The host & hostess were exceptionally friendly. We visited in the January off-season and were the only guests. Host nevertheless made us feel like royalty. The host is a gourmet cook, and we ate superb, varied, local, delicious meals, varied each day. The hotel is high in the mountains, so chilly in winter. Rooms were warm, and we ate by a fire. Every day clouds rolled in with rain, even snow. But wait 1 hour, and the sun is out. Low traffic and population meant we felt part of the area. Hiking would be easier in non-winter, but surrounding villages offered such beautiful scenery and special characteristics. We loved our stay.

The owners are really lovely and helpful and available to your every query. The property is very authentic and rustic. Loved Macchiagodena and the property location is very central overlooking the amazing mountain views. The common outdoor pool area was really lovely and relaxing.
