The camel ride was nice- camels seemed well-cared-for (not underweight, no visible injuries) and were never struck by the handler like I observed with some of the other camps' camel handlers. The dinner was multiple courses- all good and they accommodated being vegetarian. Room was plenty warm at night even in January.

The camel trek, where you can enjoy the sunset in the desert dunes. You can enjoy a desert camp and try sandboarding, with typical products and the end of your practice session around the camp. The shop is very comfortable and spacious, with a bath and shower. If traveling with children is fun

We were so fortunate to spend time at this camp. It was in an ideal location, not visible to other camps, quiet, and taken care of by some of the best and most caring group of people we met. Not treated as a number or tourist, but part of a family during and beyond our time there. Our host Driss and driver Ahmed at the camp treated us and our kids like family, always with care. It was really one of the best experiences we had and wished we could have stayed longer. The place was clean, sand boards were available for the kids to take out and play on. Drumming, dancing, singing under the stars each of the nights to wind down. Food was great. Kids talked about the experience and our new friends for the rest of the trip. Can’t say enough about the experience and the camp aside from the fact we can’t wait to visit again.

Very well maintained and spotlessly clean, with a truly romantic atmosphere. The dinner and breakfast were both excellent. The camel arrival and jeep return were perfectly organized and smooth. The staff were welcoming, helpful, and very friendly throughout our stay. The evening of music, singing, and dancing around the fire was a real highlight and very enjoyable.

Loved the Sahara family luxury Camp .The tent provided us with all the necessary amenities, including a perfectly situated shower 🚿 amidst the desert.🏜️ The food was traditionally Moroccan and quite good. The organized sunset camel 🐪 ride was undoubtedly the highlight of our stay.

10/10 experience! The drivers were a wealth of knowledge and wonderful. The accommodations and experiences were spectacular. And most of all the camp team was incredible (special shoutout to hassan and the manager). We fell so in love the desert, the culture, and the kindness of the people. We can’t wait to go back… and stay longer next time.

We had an unforgettable night stay at Milky Way Desert Camp in Merzouga. From the moment we arrived until our departure, everything was absolutely perfect. The team took great care of us and made sure we felt comfortable and welcome at all times. The staff were amazing kind, attentive, and very professional. The tents were absolutely stunning: clean, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable. The camp itself is perfectly located right on the dunes, which made the experience even more magical. We truly enjoyed every moment of our stay and would highly recommend this camp to anyone looking for an authentic and unforgettable desert experience.
