The rooms are unusually spacious and pleasant to use. We had dinner on the first evening and the food was very good. The table staff and the Desk staff were friendly and helpful so, although it has the feel of a busy international hotel with transient guests (like us) it was not impersonal. One felt valued and looked after. The breakfasts are also a treat ( with one exception- see next section!) so all in all we had the relaxing stay we needed after driving from Sweden.

everything was good except they do not have Air Con or Fans in the bedrooms which made a huge difference as I was there in very hot weather - they need at least decent fans

Everything was very thoughtful, I found the layout for everything in the property extremely conscientious. Beds were very comfy, the outside space was lovely to look at, kept very well, nice and private and very pretty. The location is excellent, very handy for walking into town and to local supermarkets. I loved not only the historic windmill outside but the inside of the house is very beautiful. Everything was very clean and well laid out, the kitchen was brilliant that it allowed you to make food easily for your days out,

Fantastic continental breakfast with freshly baked croissants and selection of breads (still hot), cheese and cold cuts, loads of fresh fruit, yoghurt, cereals, hard boiled egg, etc. Enough to feed us for breakfast and lunch (take away bags are provided). Much attention to details went into this spacious accommodation, from mosquito screens to ventilator, from floor heating in the bathroom to radiator to heat the towels, from recliners (inside and outside) to welcome wine and chocolates.

Good value for money. Quiet terrace with nature sounds all over. Beautiful and quiet scenery on the property and nearby. Bath and shower in the B&B which was very nice to have.
