It was so close to the airport and the host was truly amazing. He took us to the saw for local fishing experience. What a wonderful place to stay. Can’t wait to visit there again!

The owners are the most hospitable people we have ever encountered. Their desire was for us to have a wonderful and outstanding stay and experience. Nothing was too small of a request and their responses were immediate. The property location on Giske was perfect and a short ride from Alesund. It was spotless, very well decorated, and so warm and inviting! And the house was large with so much room to enjoy and relax including a terrace!! We had a wonderful stay and would encourage anyone to not hesitate to book here. Simply exceptional n every front!!

Beautiful fjord view out of three different areas through large windows. This is 3 bedrooms with 4 beds (sleeping 5) plus a sleep sofa in the living room upstairs. Tastefully and thoughtfully decorated with attention to detail- really fabulous, like new as place has been reconstructed in past few years. The kitchen is a chef’s dream with all appliances new and high quality. Much thought put into the layout and flow of the place. The hosts are warm and so pleasant and knowledgeable. They brought fresh coffee and her homemade cardimon rolls as a welcome gift. The rolls are delicious!! This place is underrated on Booking in our opinion. This is truly on the water and specifically set up for guests. We were there for Norway Constitution day and the city fired cannons over the bay- what a wonderful echoing sound of celebration it was. People dressed in traditional clothes for the day and a parade was only 300 meters away. Heaven on the water!

Wonderful place to stay while exploring Alesund and the region! Walkable to all the things you want to see around town and comfortable place to relax. I was surprised that it was comprised of two separate units, but otherwise, a wonderful place.

The atmosphere was cozy, bright and pleasant. The beds were comfortable. The place is located next to a less used path to Aksla, which allowed us to avoid the crowds on the official one. Very kind hosts.
