Pet-friendly hotels and homes in Santo António

This is the best value hotel for people looking for entry level accommodation. It is right at the edge of town. The rooms have a fan or AC. There is hot water. The breakfast is huge. There is a place to hang wet clothes. The tiny taxi stand to hire motorbike drivers is close by. The hotel will arrange tours if you don’t want to use motorbikes. Carlos and his staff are all nice.

It’s worth a longish walk out of town to this little corner of paradise, a river runs though the garden so you can birdwatch from your private balcony.I loved Anita, the housekeeper , genuinely caring and also proactive .The tiny house is very nicely designed and decorated and has great fittings: tv, air con ,mini kitchen, fridge! Feels luxe !

The house and the very quiet location were wonderful. Filomena who takes care of everything, is amazing! If you are willing to walk a bit up and down, that's your location. If you want to meet the locals, you are right here.

Friendly staff, great breakfast, great for family with kids!

This gorgeous house felt so homely to us for our stay in Príncipe. Salamão transported us to and from the airport, and helped us organise to rent a motorbike to explore Principe. He also organised a lovely breakfast for us (with some of the tastiest pineapples and fruits I have ever eaten) and he gave us great advice on where to explore in the island. With a motorbike we were only a few minutes away from the main town, and the accommodation is situated well to explore other parts of the islands (like the beautiful beaches). We were kicking ourselves that we only stayed 2 days in Principe and wish we stayed longer. Casas Salomão felt like home to us straight away!

I recently stayed at Pousadinha Mar Ave Ilha on Príncipe Island and had a wonderful experience. The guesthouse is beautiful and impeccably clean. The staff, Bete and Tonguinha, are incredibly friendly and take excellent care of the guests. The owner, José Manuel, is extremely courteous and ensures both the guesthouse and its visitors are well looked after. If Booking.com allowed ratings higher than 10, I would certainly give it.

The feeling of being disconnected from reality, the amazingly beautiful scenery, the authentic breakfast and being completely immersed into nature.
