I stayed here for one day and night and we were pleasantly surprised! The room itself is is small , but the wooden interior and the cabin vibe is incredible. The water pressure in the shower was high which meant a thoroughly refreshing shower! Also, the parking is right in front of our room, which was very convenient. Beside the room itself, the property boasts a heated pool in the middle of trees and mountains....a kind of view hard to find in chain hotels! There is a proper restaurant on the property. The seating and interior follows the same wooden theme, which continues to give you adventurous vibes. The food is incredible... we had the trout ... fresh and tasty and properly cooked as a trout should be cooked! Super close to Mount Rushmore, the best location ever!

Loved it! One of the most special stays of our road trip and I will try to stay in more Under Canvas venues in future trips to the US. It was especially fun for our 8 year old daughter. The tents are very comfortable and we were a short walk to the showers and toilets which were cleaned every 5 mins it felt like. Great restaurant with good choices for breakfast and dinner. Lots of games to play and also free s'mores to roast. So nice to be in all that nature. and very close to Mount Rushmore which was why we came.
