From the get-go we had a very pleasant experience. Check in was very convenient since we got detailed instructions on how to go about check in and everything was exactly as instructed and easy to find. The facilities were absolutely fantastic and everybody commented on how you really did not want for everything since there was exceptional attention to detail, down to coffee and rusks in the kitchen. We were sorry that we didn't stay longer but certainly plan on staying there again. I would gladly recommend The Barn!

We enjoyed our breakfast. What a great variety of fresh and tasty foods. The service was outstanding and the staff and owners were so friendly and caring, we felt part of their family. The atmosphere and setting in the courtyard for breakfast and dinners were exceptional, providing the right ambiance to enjoy a sundowner (cocktails), dinner and so peaceful to enjoy an early morning cuppa coffee/tea and a hearty breakfast. I give the setting, breakfast/dinner/staff and management at 5/5 rating and a chef’s kiss.

The loft apartment was modern, well lit (sunlight) and airconditioned. Very neat and clean and all necessary utensils were available. Host was very friendly and efficient. In comparison to the accommodations my family used in the same area (which were very ancient), our accommodation was most definitely the best :)

Very convenient location. Really appreciated that they allowed pets, as we bring our mini dachshund with us everywhere! The accommodations were well-appointed and super charming. The kitchenette had most everything you could need for a weekend - weeklong stay; mini fridge, kettle, two-burner stove top, and all dishes. The bed was very comfortable and there was plenty of cupboard space, if needed. We truly enjoyed our stay at Angel 8 and would certainly stay again!

We took the self catering option and had our meals. The place was neat, quite and very family friendly. We definitely going back for a weekend in September again. We have recommended the place to our friends and family and they can't wait to book their visits.

Regrettably we unfortunately travelled during extreme weather conditions which resulted in excessive flooding of roads in the Western Cape. This meant that we were not able to reach Robertson and had to cancel our accommodation at Paul Kruger. This was unfortunate as the accommodation perfectly suited our needs. The positive is that the establishment showed its compassionate nature and refunded us for the accommodation we had previously paid for an were unable to use.
