South AfricaConsidering the the location of the town, away from the main tourist routes, we were pleasantly surprised by the accommodation, the personal attention of Rosie and the many surprising facilities, for example safe off street parking, electric blankets, excellent beds, spacious building, many paintings and artistic artifacts, plus of course the very nice old style breakfast (after enquiring when, what and how it should be prepared). THANKS!!

All of this in the middle of hills around 30km from Steytlerville,alongside a river animal surrounded by hiking/mountain bike trails.
A good gravel road with just a km or so of slightly gnarly terrain to access the property.
Hans and Meisie are amazing hosts who've just recently (a year ago) taken over the operation.
Good place to spend time chillingl out with nature.

Location is good, directly on the main street with easy access and covered parking. The rooms are away from the street and enclosed in a pleasant courtyard with small well kept swimming pool. The bar and restaurant are decorated with a very interesting collection of artworks. Food was tasty and plentiful. Didn't stay for breakfast.

I always love a place that is pet friendly and allows my 2 little dogs to travel with me. I love Steytlerville and I love this hotel. Delicious meals, comfortable rooms and bed and friendly staff

A really authentic colonial-era hotel with a wonderful courtyard and spacious rooms and bathrooms. The dining area exudes the charm of yesteryear. The host is located on the main street in Steytlerville, close to all the notable town landmarks.

Beautiful, air-conditioned rooms (which is NB in Steytlerville in the summer). Nice location and friendly staff.
We only stayed one night, but we thoroughly enjoyed it and would definitely stay again.
