We had a wonderful stay at Le Sommelier in Bailleul, just near the Belgian border. Our upstairs room was spacious, beautifully appointed, and overlooked a lovely garden. It shared a common area—including a kitchen—with one other room, which made the stay feel both homely and private. Baptiste, the host, was welcoming and helpful, and kindly stored our bicycles securely in the garage. A standout feature was the ability to purchase a selection of beautifully curated French wines and local beers from the shared space—a thoughtful and unique touch. The location is quiet and charming, perfect for exploring the region on foot or by bike. 10/10 – Stylish, comfortable, and full of character. A perfect stop near the border.
