Kate’s mom had cooked breakfast and lunch for us and it was really amazing, I literally felt in love with simple homemade Chinese food thanks to her 😍 Location is very good. Very quiet at night. And the same time just few steps away from ferry, then a couple of minutes by boat and you are in the middle of hustle and bustle West Street. Guest house itself is very nice, reception is interesting decorated. Washing machine and free detergent are available on the roof top. Free water bottles at the reception. Rooms and bathrooms are big. We had balcony room and the river view was great. So, I definitely can recommend to book this place. You will never regret for sure. Thank you again Kate! The property also provides a shared kitchen, tea class, cooking class, calligraphy class and Zen experience. We had a great time in Beyond Villa Guilin. The whole staff is very helpful and always available. They helped us find a great river cruise and told us how to walk to the Reed Flute Cave, both of which are well worth it. It's in a cute village with good places to eat (one restaurant accepts Visa). The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfasts are fantastic and very healthy.

This hotel is perfect for a family with kids. There is space to run around, the swimming pool is easy to access with a nice view on the mountains. Our children enjoyed playing with the 2 rabbits owned by the hotel, they can feed them etc.. The staff does everything to simplify your stay, from the daily service, to the organization of some activities. You can rent bikes to discover the area. The restaurant offers a large choice of meals, Chinese and western. The Chinese food on the menu is amazing (beer fish and cucumber salad as an example). I really recommend this hotel!
