Located along the historic Qintai Path, Chengdu Wenjun Mansion Hotel (Kuanzhai Xiangzi Branch) is decorated in a traditional Chinese style, a 5-minute walk from Tonghuimen Subway Station (Line 2). The staff were very nice especially Frank! The location is very nice as well close to Kuanzhai Alley and the other tourist spots thru a taxi ride or 10 min walk. The rooms were clean and bigger than usual! I also like the traditional vibe of it! There’s a restaurant downstairs as well which seems like the locals like a lot! Wasn’t able to try though! There is no elevator for those who need one but their staff will help carry the luggage which was convenient!

Very nice hotel, close to the Baugò Temple and the bus station where you can take bused to go to different points of the Emei Shan hiking route. The couple that run the hostel are nice and helpful, with plenty of advise to visit the place.

I really enjoyed this hotel. Being up in the mountains, the air is fresh and the whole atmosphere feels so calm and chill. The hot spring was also very comfortable. This is exactly the kind of experience I wanted to have when coming to China.

This was by far the most delightful place I stayed in the whole of China! The rooms were large, the bed was so comfortable, the sheets were so high quality and soft, they had real so fluffy towels, the toilet sang music as it lightly warmed your tushy, there was a separate shower which did not leak everywhere, their was high end shower gels and conditioner, stunning leather chairs & even the coat hangers were solid metal designer style! The host was the most pleasant lady and even helped me with a booking in my next town for the next day! 100 points out of 10! Just stunning!
