We really liked the location, the rooms, the guesthouse in general and last but not least the staff was just amazing they arranged our trip to Tiger Leaping George which was perfectly arranged like it should be. This is a boutique hotel situated on a local “Lion Hill” overlooking the entire Lijiang Old Town. In fact, the observation deck is just next to the hotel. It only takes 5 minutes to walk down to the Old Town making an excellent location for exploring the area. The management team is fantastic. Jim, Little Zhao and Harry are wonderfully helpful hosts who look after us very well during our stay. In all, we have such a good experience that if we ever visit Lijiang again, this is the hotel we will stay.

The proprietors were wonderful. Their hospitality was exceptional. They do all they can to accommodate their guests. They served us tea and snacks, visited with us ( even through Google translate), and walked us to restaurants they recommended to make sure we got good food and drinks and we're happy. Though not fancy, it is so special and our favorite . The location is perfect too.
